I welcome you to one of “At the Barns” waterfalls and one of the spaces that we get the privilege of being in in our nature based sessions…
One of the practices we do “At the Barn” is called ORIENTING
It can be a powerfully simple in the moment practice that can restore our ventral vagal capacity (our rest and restore, ourselves back into a tolerant window of capacity).
I invite you to find a moment today and feel free to visit with my video my waterfall if nature energises you and you are indoors today …
Take a moment to gently allow yourself to notice how your body feels when it’s here at the waterfall or wherever you are. Don’t go past the intention to slow down and be with the moment - your moment of self-care. What do you notice? can you feel an ease in constricted parts, does your breathe deepen, do emotions surface, do muscles relax, does your heart rate slow, does curiosity return, does the flow of the water allow a more fluid feeling in you, can you feel your jaw loosen, your throat muscles ease.
