✨ Your future isn’t written. You get to write it.

Have you ever wondered what happens inside your body when stress becomes an ongoing experience?

When the brain perceives danger, it activates the fight–flight–stress response. Adrenaline and other stress hormones are released, breathing and heart rate can change, muscles become ready for action and the body shifts its resources towards survival.

That response is designed to be temporary.

But when the body is repeatedly exposed to stress, the nervous system can spend more time in a heightened state of alert.

The image above shows some of the stress physiology and the common symptoms or conditions that can be associated with prolonged stress.

Our health is complex and there are many contributing factors.

But it does highlight something incredibly important:

Your nervous system matters.

And the experiences your body has been through don’t have to determine what happens next.

Learning to understand your body, recognise stress patterns and support your nervous system can be a powerful part of creating change.

This is one of the reasons I’m so passionate about helping people understand their bodies through Spinal Flow Technique.

Your story isn’t finished.

Your future isn’t written.
You get to write it. 💫

WHAT WE RESIST, WE HOLD.
WHAT WE ALLOW, WE CAN RELEASE. 🌿✨🤍

Have you ever noticed that sometimes, no matter how much you try to “let go” of something with your mind, your body still feels like it’s holding on? 🧠💭🫶

Stress, tension and emotions can become part of the way we experience our body. 🌿 Sometimes, what we haven’t had the space or safety to fully process can show up as tension, discomfort or a feeling of being constantly “on”. ⚡️

Just like the layers of an onion 🧅, there can be many layers to what we carry. As one layer softens, another may come to the surface — perhaps sadness, anger, fear or simply emotions we haven’t allowed ourselves to fully feel. 💧🤍

And this is where the power of letting go begins. 🌊✨
We don’t have to force anything.

We don’t have to fight what we feel. 🤍

Sometimes, we simply need to create enough space to pause, breathe, feel and allow. 🌬️🌿🫶

Spinal Flow Technique works with the body in a gentle, non-invasive way, supporting the nervous system to move away from patterns of stress and towards a deeper state of relaxation and awareness. 🌊🧘‍♀️✨

When the body feels safe enough to soften, we can begin to experience change — not by forcing it, but by allowing the body’s natural intelligence to guide the process. ✨🌿

Over time, letting go can become less about releasing one particular emotion and more about releasing the patterns of resistance we have carried for years. 🍃🤍

We may become less reactive. 🌱
More present. ✨
More connected to ourselves. 🫶
And more able to meet life with calmness rather than resistance. 🌊🤍

Let go. 🌬️
Breathe. 🌿
Flow. 🌊✨

Sometimes healing begins with simply being willing to let go. 🤍🌿

🪶 The pelvis holds us up… but sometimes it also carries what we've been carrying for far too long. 🤍

Pelvic pain can have many causes. It may be linked to conditions such as:• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)• Digestive conditions• Sacroiliac joint dysfunction• Spinal misalignment• Injuries or falls• Pregnancy and childbirth• Menstrual pain• Endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids or pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)

It's always important to seek appropriate medical assessment to understand the cause of persistent or severe pelvic pain.

But there is another piece of the puzzle that is often overlooked...

Our nervous system remembers.

The body can hold onto physical, emotional and chemical stress long after the event has passed. We often push through life, carrying responsibility, grief, fear, trauma, uncertainty and overwhelm without realising the tension is quietly being stored within us.

The sacrum, at the base of the spine, is the foundation of our body. Within the Spinal Flow Technique philosophy, this area is considered an important place where stress may become stored, creating blockages that can affect the body's natural communication through the nervous system.

When the nervous system remains in a protective state, muscles can stay tight, movement may become restricted, and the body may struggle to fully rest, repair and regulate itself.

With Spinal Floe we gently support your body's innate healing wisdom by helping identify and release spinal blockages. There is no force, no cracking—just a gentle approach that encourages your nervous system to move from protection into greater ease and balance.

✨ Sometimes healing begins not by fighting the body, but by finally listening to what it has been trying to say.

Your body is not working against you.

It is always communicating.

And when you feel safe enough to listen, remarkable changes can begin.

Supporting your nervous system, honouring your healing journey, and trusting the wisdom that has been within you all along.

If you're reading this, chances are you've already tried a lot of things.

Physio. Massage. Chiropractic. Anti-inflammatories. Rest. Stretching. Maybe surgery, or at least a conversation about it.

Perhaps you've had the scans, the X-rays, the MRI — and been told either that something specific is wrong, or even more frustratingly, that everything looks fine.

And yet the pain remains.

Here's what's important to hear: you are not imagining this. And you have not run out of options. You may simply not yet have had the right conversation — one that includes the whole of you, not just the part that hurts.

Pain Is a Signal, Not a Sentence

One of the foundational principles of the Spinal Flow Technique is this: pain is not the problem. Pain is a message.

The body is extraordinarily intelligent. It doesn't create pain to punish you. It creates pain to communicate — to get your attention and direct it toward something that needs to be addressed.

When that message is silenced with medication or management strategies alone, the underlying cause remains. And the body, patient as it is, will find another way to speak.

The real question with chronic pain is never simply where does it hurt? The deeper question is: what has the body been trying to process and release — and what has stopped it from being able to do that?

It's not your fault but it is your choice to heal it. So many of my clients carry childhood trauma that is showing up as physical and emotional symptoms decades later. You are worthy, you are enough, you are powerful and you deserve to love yourself unconditionally.

📌 Quicker faster - The Spinal Flow Technique is a popular hands-on healing modality founded by Australian chiropractor Dr. Carli Axford.

* It uses light, intuitive touch on specific access points along the spinal column to release physical, chemical, and emotional stress.

📌 This technique is structured around the 7 Gateways of the Spine, which correspond to different organs, emotions, and nervous system functions. 👇

** Gateway 1 - The Coccyx – Focuses on survival, foundation, and grounding.

** Gateway 2- The Sacrum – Tied to creativity, passion, and emotional release.

** Gateway 3 - Lumbar Spine – Connects to power, digestion, and stress storage.
** Gateway 4 - Thoracic Spine – The heart space, associated with love, relationships, and breathing.

** Gateway 5 - Cervical Spine – Focuses on communication, truth, and neck mobility.

** Gateway 6 - Atlas/Axis (Base of Skull) – Relates to seeing clearly and letting go of control.

** Gateway 7 - Cranium – Promotes connection to source, intuition, and mental clarity.

📌 Unlike traditional chiropractic adjustments, there is no forceful manipulation or cracking. Instead, the gentle contact initiates a natural, wave like motion—the "spinal flow"—that moves up and down the back, aiming to shift the nervous system from a "stress zone" into a "healing zone". 🙌

📌 Stored unprocessed Attachment and Spinal Blockages - Spinal Flow is a gentle, hands-on healing modality focused on helping your nervous system shift from a state of threat or protection (fight-or-flight) into parasympathetic rest.

* By utilizing light touch on specific spinal access points on the sacrum and cranium, releasing physical, chemical, and emotional stress trapped along the 7 gateways of Spine/Nervous system.

📌 The combination of Spinal Flow and healing attachments (such as attachment wounds or anxious/avoidant styles) works through the principles of somatic therapy and nervous system regulation 👇

* Somatic Release: Attachment wounds and trauma are often stored in the body as chronic muscle tension, shallow breathing, and protective postures.

* Spinal Flow works by sending signals of safety to the brain, allowing the physical body to melt, relax, and release these stored neurological blockages.

📌 Gateway Connections: Dr. Carli Axford's technique maps specific emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations to the 33 access points on the spine. For example, blockages in the sacral or lower back gateways are often linked to emotional feelings of unsafety, instability, or lack of support.

* Processing Emotions: As physical tension dissipates, a deep emotional release often occurs, allowing individuals to process underlying traumas and attachment anxieties without having to verbally recount past events.

🌿 What is Spinal Flow Technique?

Spinal Flow Technique is a gentle, safe, and non-invasive approach that works with the nervous system to help the body release stored physical, chemical, and emotional stress. ✨
Using a light touch on specific access points along the spine, it supports the body's natural ability to heal, regulate, and restore balance. 💚

🧠 How does it work?

Over time, stress, trauma, illness, and the demands of everyday life can overwhelm the nervous system, causing it to shift into a protective state. When this happens, communication between the brain and the body may become less efficient.

Spinal Flow Technique helps restore this communication, encouraging a healthier flow of energy and cerebrospinal fluid throughout the spine. 🌊 As the nervous system begins to regulate, the body can activate its own innate healing processes and function more effectively.

✨ What are the benefits?

Every person is unique, and each healing journey is different. Many people report experiencing:

🌸 Reduced stress and anxiety
😴 Better sleep and deeper relaxation
💆 Less tension and physical discomfort
⚡ Increased energy and mental clarity
💙 Greater emotional balance and resilience
🌱 A stronger connection with their body and overall wellbeing.

🌍 A different approach to health and wellbeing
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Spinal Flow Technique supports the nervous system—the body's master control system—so it can communicate more effectively with every organ, muscle, and cell.
When the nervous system is balanced, the body is better able to adapt, recover, and thrive. 🌟

💫 Your body already knows how to heal. Sometimes it simply needs the right environment to remember how.

💚 Ready to experience the difference?
Your healing journey begins with a single step.
If you're looking to reduce stress, reconnect with your body, and support your nervous system naturally, I'd love to welcome you for a Spinal Flow session.

📅 Book your appointment today and discover what can happen when your body is given the opportunity to do what it was designed to do—heal.

Mothers carry more than the world sees. 👩🏻‍🍼

The physical imprint of pregnancy, birth, feeding, lifting, holding. The emotional weight of worrying quietly in the dark, of protecting everyone around you. The invisible mental labor of remembering everything for everyone, while somehow keeping it all moving.

And in the middle of all of that giving? Your own body waits. Patiently. Silently. Often for years.

The tension that never fully left after birth. The exhaustion that sleep stopped fixing. The feeling of being permanently on, wired, watchful, running on empty, even when the house is finally quiet.

This isn't a weakness. This is what happens when a nervous system has been in service to everyone else for so long, it's forgotten what it feels like to simply rest.

Spinal Flow Technique™ works gently with your body's own wisdom to find where the weight has been stored, along the spine, deep in the nervous system, and creates the conditions for it to finally, safely release.

Not a quick fix. A real return. To yourself. To your body. To the version of you that exists beneath the doing.

You have given so much. It's time something was given back to you. ❤️

Hope is NOW

What is spinal flow?

The spinal flow technique is a holistic approach that combines principals from chiropractic care, neurology and somatic healing to promote wellness and healing through the spine and nervous system. It is grounded in various scientific concepts related to the nervous system, neuroplasticity, and the mind-body connection. Here’s a quick breakdown…

👉 Nervous system Regulation: The spinal cord and associated nerves are critical for communication between the brain and the body. The technique aims to facilitate proper nerve function by addressing misalignments in the spine, which can lead to improve improved nervous system regulation. This regulation plays a vital role in stress management, emotional stability and overall health.

👉 Deep pressure stimulation: The technique involves applying gentle pressure along the spine, which can stimulate specific nerve pathways and promote a relaxation response. The stimulation activates the parasympathetic nervous system, enhancing the bodies ability to rest digest and heal.

👉 Somatic Experiencing: somatic practices, emphasize the bodies ability to heal by tuning into physical sensations and emotions. The Spinal Flow technique encourages individuals to become aware of their bodily experiences, facilitating, emotional release and processing. This is grounded in somatic psychology, which recognizes that unresolved trauma can manifest physically.

👉 Neuroplasticity: Neuroplasticity refers to the brain‘s ability to Re-organize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. By promoting awareness, and focussing on the sensation of Spinal Flow, individuals can create new pathways that support, healthier emotions, habits and responses, fostering, personal growth and healing.

The Spinal Flow technique is not just about spinal alignment, but about restoring the flow of life through your nervous system. It is a gentle holistic modality designed to release blockages in the spine and nervous system, without cracking, popping, or force often associated with chiropractic care.
