- Supplements with Herbal, Nutritional, Homeopathic and Flower essence prescriptions
- Information about your condition and a Naturopathic understanding of this
- Handouts of information about your condition and dietary assessment

BIG women’s health news 👀

From the 12th May 2026, the medical world is beginning the transition from the term **PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)** to **PMOS (PolyMetabolic Ovarian Syndrome).**

This comes following a recent publication in ✨The Lancet✨, with experts recognising that the current name “PCOS” no longer accurately reflects the condition.

And honestly? This is SUCH an exciting shift.

Because PCOS has never just been about “cysts on the ovaries.”

In fact:
👉 not everyone with PCOS has cysts
👉 it’s not just an ovarian issue
👉 and for many women, the metabolic symptoms are HUGE

The move to PMOS helps acknowledge that this is a:
🤍 multi-symptom
🤍 whole-body
🤍 metabolic + hormonal condition

It can impact:
• insulin resistance
• blood sugar regulation
• inflammation
• weight
• skin
• ovulation + fertility

Most healthcare professionals are happy with vitamin D above 50nmol/L, anything under this is considered deficient. BUT if you're trying to conceive then ideally you want your levels to be over at least 75nmol/L as levels under this have been linked with miscarriage, read more ☝️ or get tested!

APPLE CRUMBLE 🍏

6-8 Granny Smith apples (can also use pear)
1/4 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar
2 tsp of cinnamon
water
2 cups of organic rolled oats
1/4 cup of coconut
3/4 cups of crushed nuts and mixed seeds (walnuts and pumpkin seeds go well!)
2 tbls of coconut oil
80gm of butter or extra coconut oil for a dairy free option
1/4 cup buckwheat flour

Peel apples and chop into quarters.
⠀⠀
Place in a saucepan with 2 tsp brown sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon, cover with water.
⠀⠀
Boil water and simmer for 10 mins until apples are soften.
⠀⠀
Now to make the crumble, combine sugar, flour and butter and combine well, easiest way is to use your hands!

Add all other ingredients.
⠀⠀
In an oven proof dish, first layer the stewed fruit then top with the crumble.
⠀⠀
Bake in the oven for 15 mintues on 180 degrees.
⠀⠀
Serve with natural yohgurt or coconut ice cream 🍨
