Maningrida, our grand opening is tomorrow Thursday 18 June 10am!

Mala'la Health Service is proud to officially open our new Public Health Centre.

As one of the busiest remote health services in the Northern Territory, this new facility will provide more space for healthcare services, visiting specialists, staff training and community programs.

The expansion will help us meet growing demand and strengthen important services including:

We're seeking a Therapeutic Youth & Family Coordinator to join our team in Maningrida.

This is an opportunity to work alongside young people, families, Elders and community stakeholders to support positive life pathways, strengthen family relationships and reduce involvement in the youth justice system.

What we offer:

Maningrida, come to the grand opening of our new Public Health Centre!

On Thursday 18 June at 10am, we will be having bunggul (midjdjang and kadabarra), food and speeches, and an opportunity to see the new Public Health Centre afterwards.

This new centre is an investment in the health and wellbeing of our community and will help us continue to provide quality care for the people of Maningrida and surrounding homelands.

U15s
4pm – 5:30pm

Women's Football

Youth Week school health screenings πŸ’›

As part of Youth Week, Mala'la Health Service will be visiting Maningrida College on:

πŸ’› Monday 1 June
πŸ’› Wednesday 3 June

We will be offering optional health screenings for students aged 15 and over.

This is an opt-in service. Students can choose whether they would like to participate. Male and female clinicians will be available in separate rooms during the screenings.

Our health screenings may include:

πŸ’› Full health checks
πŸ’› Heart scans
πŸ’› Health education
πŸ’› Wellbeing support

Youth Week is a celebration of young people in Maningrida and will run from 1 to 5 June 2026.
