Fannie Bay Medical would like to Welcome Dr Satbir Aulakh to the team.

Dr Satbir Aulakh is an experienced General Practitioner who has worked in Australia since
2005 and has cared for patients in the Darwin region for more than 19 years. He has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2009 and has served as an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2011.

Dr Aulakh is the founder of Top End Medical Centres and Ageless Health Clinic in the Northern Territory. In addition to his Australian general practice qualifications, he has undertaken advanced training in functional, anti-ageing and regenerative medicine and holds board certification through the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, with training through the University of South Florida.

With extensive experience across general practice, Dr Aulakh has developed particular interests in skin cancer detection and management, general practice dermatology, musculoskeletal medicine, prolotherapy, men's health, and women's health, including the assessment and management of health concerns associated with perimenopause, menopause and the postmenopausal years.

His approach draws on his many years of conventional general practice together with his experience in functional medicine, with an emphasis on comprehensive assessment, preventative healthcare and the long-term management of chronic and age-related health concerns.

Having spent almost two decades caring for people in Darwin and the wider Northern Territory, Dr Aulakh is pleased to continue serving the local community and providing experienced,
patient-centred general medical care.

Dr Raufa Rahman, MBBS, she a dedicated and compassionate doctor committed to providing patient-centred, evidence-based care. Her clinical interests include general practice, women’s health, child health, mental health, and chronic disease management, with a focus on listening to patients, understanding their needs, and providing personalised care for individuals and families.

Fannie Bay Medical Receptionist
This is a casual position hours per week will vary.
As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and professional experience. Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing front desk reception duties, including greeting patients and handling enquiries.
• Appointment scheduling and patient admissions.
• Liaising with Visiting Doctors’ practices for patient scheduling and list management.
• Processing payments and health fund claims.
• Supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks.
• General office administration and medical record management.
About You:
• Previous experience in a medical reception or administration role (preferred but not essential).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Must have NT Drivers licence and reliable transport or reside Locally
• Must be available to work Morning & Afternoon/Evening shifts
• Must be Available to work weekends if required
• NT Working with Children Card is a must
