Thank you Kay and Ella for this beautiful message, and for choosing to spend such a special 70th birthday with us at Samadhi.

Wayne and I and the team loved having you here. It means so much to know that you felt rested, cared for, nourished and able to simply enjoy this little pocket of peace together.

There is something very special about seeing a mother and daughter share time like this, and we feel genuinely grateful that Samadhi became part of that memory.

There’s something about gathering around a fire that never seems to lose its magic. 🔥

As we move through the final days of winter and begin to notice the first quiet signs of spring, our fire pit is still one of the most loved places at Samadhi.

A place to warm your hands, share stories, sit in good company… or simply watch the flames and allow the day to soften.

The seasons may be changing, but some rituals remain timeless — fire, connection, nature, and the simple pleasure of being present.

Here’s to the last of the winter fires and the gentle arrival of spring. 🌿

A wet day at Samadhi, and the perfect invitation for me to begin finding my way back to the harp.

There is something quite beautiful about sound as a form of healing. It asks nothing of us. We don’t have to analyse, explain or work anything out. We can simply listen… breathe… and allow ourselves to become still.

At Samadhi, sound also forms a beautiful part of our Sound Healing Therapy sessions, where we work with our exquisite Crystal Tones® Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls®. Created from exceptionally pure quartz crystal, these remarkable bowls can also be infused with precious gemstones, minerals and metals, giving each bowl its own distinctive character, tone and resonance.

And the resonance is extraordinary.

It isn’t only the sound that fills the room — there is a quality to the vibration that can feel deeply enveloping, creating a beautiful space for meditation, rest, inner listening and reconnection.

The harp has its own special place in my heart, and after some time away from it, this rainy day feels like the perfect moment to begin again.

Sometimes healing doesn’t need more words.

Sometimes we simply need to become quiet enough to hear what is already within us.

And on a day like today… I think I’ll just keep harping on. 🤍🎶

The breath is your first medicine.

Long before words, before thought, before we learnt to strive or protect ourselves…

there was the breath.

Every inhale is an invitation to receive life.
Every exhale is an opportunity to soften, surrender and let go.

When we’re anxious, the breath becomes shallow.
When we’re grieving, we often hold it.
When we’re overwhelmed, we forget it altogether.

Yet the breath is always waiting.

Patient.
Gentle.
Ready to guide us home.

With each conscious breath, the nervous system begins to settle, the mind becomes quieter, and the body remembers what it feels like to be safe.

Perhaps healing doesn’t always begin with finding the answers.

Perhaps it begins with simply taking one slow, intentional breath.
