Our approach is built on respect, collaboration and listening. We believe the best healthcare comes from being guided by community voices.

What we offer:
> Short-term placements (3–12 weeks).
> Qualified GPs, nurses, oral health professionals and audiologists.
> All health professionals receive cultural and clinical orientation before placement.

Calling all GPs. Are you ready to make a real impact in remote Northern Territory (NT) communities?

NTRLP offers short-term placements of up to 12 weeks in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the NT.

As an NTRLP GP, you'll work side by side with skilled Aboriginal Health Practitioners, nurses, dedicated local staff and community-controlled health services to deliver culturally safe, community-driven care. These placements are more than just clinical, they’re an opportunity to learn, listen and contribute to Aboriginal-led health outcomes.

We support you every step of the way with:
> cultural and clinical orientation
> pre-placement guidance from our Workforce Officers
> 24/7 clinical and pastoral support throughout your placement
> a strong focus on respectful partnerships with community-led health services.
