What is it about accepting myself that is so energizing and peaceful!?

I have struggled all my life to be what I thought others wanted me to be...

My 50's saw a lot of change, growth, acceptance and gracious space...

Now, in my first month of 60, I somehow feel so empowered to let all of it go...

I have stopped HRT and embracing how my body, mind and spirit are re-connecting, re-engaging and learning to read each other more deeply.

I'm not fighting me anymore.

It's a process.

I'm not so scared of my voice anymore.

I'm not so afraid of my own power anymore.

It's a process, this learning curve.

What this also means, is that I do/have done what I ask my clients to do...

Stretch, be curious, be courageous, embrace change and the emerging you!

How to feel settled and even grounded...

I am away from home for a few weeks, working in TV land - on a few live golf broadcasts...

Live TV is big hours, stress and lots of sitting, and eating big meals... so... it's easy to feel out of sorts.

This trip we are by the sea, so it's easy to take a moment to walk, feel the sand and ocean.. to reset and regather myself...

But when you're not by the sea, some easy ways to reset your fatigue, nervous system, and even brain function...

🌀 take a few moments to breath, in and out evenly for 5 counts each breath. Equanimity in breath.

🌀 use your shower to wash the day away, or ground for the new day...

🌀 gently stretch out your shoulders, heart space and hips (separately)... open up your energy and reconnect your heart, body and mind.

🌀 find something that make you feel good - music to dance to, a comedy to make you laugh, food that helps you feel light and energized.

This morning I stretched, walked to the ocean and touched the sand and water... and put in my lapis lazuli bracelet for added oomph...

yes, I feel reset and ready for on-air!

What training does a Kinesiologist need?

I'm glad you asked!

The basic training for a Kinesiologist is a Diploma in Kinesiology...

There are many kinds or models of 'Kinesiology'..

✨ I trained in 'Holistic Kinesiology... a Diploma of Kinesiology and a Diploma in Mind-Body Medicine.

✨ As well as this, years ago I also trained as a Counsellor - at Degree level!

Since being beginning my Kinesiology journey, I have also trained in other modalities that enhance the work to bring a deeper and more varied version of calm, flow & balance.

✨ I have trained in Aromatic Kinesiology, Sacred Kinesiology, EFT Tapping, Mindfulness and the latest being Access Bars. Later this year, I will be training in sound and bowl therapy.

AND..

✨ As well as this, being a member of the Australian Kinesiology Society, I need to learn and train each year for my CPE points...

AND

✨ Each month i get 'supervision' to help keep me on track and accountable.

So, what training does a Kinesiologist need...
