My name is Diane Munns and I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian. My areas of expertise are in Obesity and Weight Management and the many associated complications. I work with all age ranges children, teens and adults, I have also experienced many successes when working with families as a whole. I also advise my clients on Diabetes management as this is frequently linked to obesity and weight ma

nagement. I have personal family experience with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. As a Dietitian, I have worked at the Nutrition Foundation with Jo Rogers, at Westmead Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Gastroenterology, the Metabolism and Obesity Centre with Prof Ian Caterson and Dr Kate Steinbeck, and Waters Health Clinic working in the area of Eating Disorders with Prof Janice Russell and Dr Ros Griffiths. I started my private practice 15 years ago work within 4 main centres throughout Sydney metropolitan; the Sydney Insulin Pump Clinic in Manly with Dr Gabrielle Howard (Endocrinologist) and Robyn Gray (Credentialed Diabetes Educator), Bodyline Weight Management in Newtown with Dr Tania Markovic and Dr Anne Maree Kean (Endocrinologists), Northern Sydney Endocrine Centre in St Leonards with Dr Anna Storey and 8 other endocrinologists, and in Dee Why in rooms with Dr Safak Gotogan. On a personal level, I have a love of good food. I believe that we all have the ability to enjoy great food, this just needs to be in moderation and in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle. I also have 3 adult teenagers and have survived 3 HSC's! My hours above are for my Dee Why Clinic. I also work on Thursdays at RPAH Medical Centre 317 / 100 Carillon Ave, Newtown 7.05 am - 4.30 pm, and alternate Mondays - 1.00 - 5.00 pm

Wow! I had no idea there were so many different types of these little beauties! Nutritional profile is excellent! Their high mono saturated fat content has been associated with a reduced risk is heart disease. So easy to add to salads, serve to complement platters and just eat by themselves🤗
