Seeking people who live locally on the Northern Beaches to support local elderly and people with a disability. Job would suit school mums looking to work school hours or semi retired individuals who love getting out and about.

You must have a drivers license, registered vehicle and a current police check or willingness to obtain.

Job is supporting people in their own homes with light domestic housework, shopping, meal preparation and transportation to and from appointments or social activities.

Just wanted to share a great local company on the Northern Beaches and the Central Coast Integrity Car Sales & Rentals
They have been around for years providing accessible transportation through their rental and sales of accessible vehicles to people with a disability. I first came across this company when we made it our mission to take one of our clients out to see her elderly mother a few years back, she had not seen her childhood home nor been able to travel out to see her mum in over 22 years.
When I contacted Integrity Cars they were so accommodating and efficient. The whole process was so easy. I picked up the van and drove my client and her partner, both wheelchair users out to visit her mum. They had a wonderful time and all thanks to Intergrity Cars!

Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA) is a member-based charity that has been supporting people with a spinal cord injury and other similar disabilities for over 50 years.

Today is International Woman’s Day! Today is the day we celebrate every aspect of womanhood; which includes a woman’s culture, socio-economic and political achievements. International Woman’s Day is important to help bridge the gap that’s been held over the years between gender equality. Here at My Ability Angel we celebrate equality, but today we will hold in our hearts all the woman in our lives.

As we make our way through the first month of the new year 2023, it is important to keep up to date with any new information regarding the NDIS. It is also important to check your NDIS plan to make sure you are on track of maximising your funding, as well as on track to completing your goals!

By reaching out to your support coordinator/plan manager/NDIS portal you can get an update on your progress and brainstorm ways to help make 2023 your year! Make sure you frequently check out the NDIS website and keep an ear out for any changes that may come for 2023 so you can prepare yourself with whatever comes your way! YOU’VE GOT THIS !
