🧡 ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!! 🧡

As of today I will be operating solely as “LorenJane Body Art”.

You’ll still find me in the same place at The Butterfly Effect studio but for all enquiries please message me directly on this page.

So what changes does this mean for my clients?

For now I will only be accepting cash money until I get my eftpos system up and running. At this stage I will not be offering Afterpay payments.
My hours will remain the same and the non refundable booking fee will also be unchanged.
Please remember to only book if you have your deposit ready.
My policies and procedures will not be changing.
All outstanding gift vouchers from “The Butterfly Effect” will be honoured as normal.

I will be offering vouchers and promotions with my new brand asap.
I am excited to still be a part of the butterfly family within the work space but very proud to be an independent artist/business.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding with this transition and I can’t wait to grow in this new adventure along side you all!

Biggggggg moves today!!

I genuinely can’t thank all my amazing clients that trusted me and stuck by me through this journey and my family and friends for all their encouragement and support.

But most of all, I have to thank the one person who made any of this possible… my amazing mentor and friend Meg Kaine. Not only did she see something in me at the very start that I didn’t see in myself but she took a chance on me and gave me this incredible opportunity. Not only did I learn so much about the industry but Meg has taught me so much about life. Thank you for everything you have taught me. From how to handle chaos with elegance, laugh off the small stuff, being compassionate in difficult situations and above all, how to stay strong when things get hard. These are lessons I will keep with me through life.
I owe it all to you and I will never forget the kindness you have shown me.
These values we hold in the studio reflect the spirit in you. And now, in me too.

“Can we get it all done in one day?”

This is the question I get asked a lot. And the answer is “it depends.”

There are a lot of factors that depict the time it will take to do a tattoo. Examples are:

- The design details
- Areas of full colour or black work
- The body part we are applying it to
- The clients ability to sit

There are also other factors such as client health/medication and skin condition that comes into it.

I will always try to be transparent with my expectations and keep clear communication throughout the entire experience. From consult to result.

Here are three pieces from three days. Each with a variety of factors. Can you tell how long each one took?

I’ll give you a hint… more than an hour 🤭

Oh and I turned 3 today. Happy anniversary of the beginning of my tattoo journey!!
