Leaving takes enormous courage. But leaving is not the end of her story, it’s only the beginning.

For women and children in the Great Lakes region, that beginning often needs safety, support, advocacy, care and time to rebuild. It needs the support of organisations like the Great Lakes Women's Shelter. And it needs caring members of our local community. People like you.

As we head towards the end of the financial year, Great Lakes Women’s Shelter is aiming to raise $25,000 by 30 June to help fund our ongoing shelter operations.
