We welcome Lisa to the Support Chain team in her new role as Support Coordinator.
Lisa brings a diverse and compassionate background to this role, shaped by living across Australia and in the Middle East, and working within culturally diverse teams. Her broad life experience has helped her develop strong communication skills and a genuine understanding of people from all walks of life.
Lisa studied Allied Health Assistance in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy and began her career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at the Monash Kingston Centre during the COVIDโ19 pandemic. Working on a rehabilitation ward, she collaborated closely with fellow Allied Health Assistants and a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, speech pathologists, social workers and nursing staff to ensure highโquality, personโcentred care.
Throughout her role, Lisa supported patients recovering from stroke, falls and dementia, helping them regain independence and maintain meaningful daily lives. Her work included assisting with personal care, rebuilding everyday life skills such as cooking, and supporting functional exercises to improve strength and mobility.
Alongside her health career, Lisa is currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education. She has also worked as Education Support Staff in a primary school, supporting children with disability in the classroom.
New to Support Chain and the role of Support Coordinator, Lisa brings a calm, positive and friendly nature to the team. Outside of work, she is a busy mum of three and enjoys staying active through aerobics with her sister.
