🌟 Celebrating 35 Years of Service🌟

Congratulations Garry Davis

Today we recognise an incredible milestone for Garry Davis, who has dedicated an amazing 35 years of volunteering with St John Ambulance in Donnybrook and Mount Magnet πŸ‘πŸš‘

For three and a half decades, Garry has generously given his time, skills and care to help others and support our local community. His commitment to St John Ambulance is a wonderful example of what volunteering is all about β€” putting others first, being there when people need help, and giving back to the community he calls home. ❀️

Thirty-five years is an extraordinary achievement, and the impact Garry has made over that time cannot be measured. We are incredibly grateful for the countless hours, events, emergencies and community activities he has supported.

Thank you, Garry, for 35 years of selfless service and for everything you continue to give to the Donnybrook community. πŸ™

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! πŸ†πŸ‘

Sign off day ~ 22/08/2026

As volunteers, it is vital that we are all up to speed with our Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs.) At Donnybrook we train every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Each year volunteers are required to be signed off on various CPGs.

A huge thanks to our wonderful Volunteer Development Officers (VDOs) Garry, Lynn-anne, Matt, VDO Assistant Jodie, and to Ash our Relief Community Paramedic for sign off day, and for the provision of learning and support throughout the year.

Training is not just about skills, it’s about building confidence, trust, support, and working together as a team. Well done & congrats to all those who were signed off this year. We have an awesome team here in Donnybrook πŸ‘ πŸ’šπŸš‘

Locals helping locals, for the love of your community πŸ’š

Volunteering is a set of values. It’s about more than just offering medical assistance, it’s the opportunity to give back, be there for your neighbour, and keep your community strong. When you lend a helping hand, you join a group of legends. People who hold the same values as you. Those who show up and make a difference.

We are always looking for volunteers, and would love to hear from you. Click the link below for further info or contact us direct at the Donnybrook sub-centre. πŸ’šπŸš‘
