📱 National Emergency Alert Test – Monday 27 July

Australia will conduct a national emergency alert test on Monday, 27 July 2026 at 2:00 pm AEST as part of the new AusAlert system rollout.

During the test, compatible mobile phones will:
🚨 Sound a loud alert (even if on silent)
📳 Vibrate for around 10 seconds
📱 Display a message confirming it is only a test

No action is required.

💚 Important for anyone experiencing domestic or family violence: If you have a hidden mobile phone or device for your safety, please be aware that it may receive this emergency alert. If it is safe to do so, please check your device’s Emergency Alerts settings before the test or speak with a trusted support service about your options. 💚
