Now that the weather is warming up, it’s the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy some fresh air! ☀️

Christina and Bruce were out enjoying their morning walk and stumbled across a few interesting things along the way.

Bruce really enjoys his morning walks each day, getting out into the community, exploring nature and seeing what they can discover along the way. 🌳💙

Nothing beats some sunshine, fresh air and a little adventure to start the day! 😊

💜✨ DAY 19 BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT – ACCESSIBLE PATHWAYS - SUPPORT COORDINATION ✨💜

Today I want to introduce you properly to the beautiful El, the woman behind Accessible Pathways -Support Coordination ❤️ I'm yet to officially meet El face to face but I'm excited to have her on board and meet her soon. And this is another one of those connections that has come about because of this crazy little 40 by 40 Giveaway of mine!

El saw one of her friends involved in the giveaways, thought it looked pretty cool and basically said, “Yep! I want to be involved too!” 🥹❤️

And THAT makes me so bloody happy.

Because one of the things I genuinely didn't expect when I started this giveaway was just how many incredible people and businesses I would get to meet along the way.

El is the Owner and Support Coordinator of Accessible Pathways, based across Gilgandra and Dubbo, and she is currently welcoming new NDIS participants.

Accessible Pathways specialises in Level 1, 2 and 3 Support Coordination, supporting both children and adults across a wide range of disabilities.

But what really stands out to me is the heart behind what El does.

Navigating the NDIS can be overwhelming. There are plans, providers, funding, appointments, referrals, reassessments and about 400 other things that can make you wonder where the heck you're even supposed to start.

And that's exactly where having the right person in your corner can make such a difference. ❤️

El's goal is to make that journey a little less overwhelming and make sure the person at the centre of it all is actually heard.

💜 Accessible Pathways can assist with:

• Understanding and implementing NDIS plans
• Connecting with providers and allied health professionals
• Monitoring funding
• Advocacy
• Referrals
• Plan reassessments
• Changes in circumstances
• Working towards individual goals
• Helping participants understand their choices and options

Most importantly, El's focus is on choice, control and independence, while providing personalised, reliable and compassionate support throughout the entire NDIS journey.

If you're sitting there thinking...

"I just need someone who actually cares and can help me work through it."

Then El wants you to know that you don't have to navigate it alone. ❤️

😂💦 WHEN WE SAY “CHECK THE DEPTH”… MATHEW TAKES IT VERY SERIOUSLY! 💦😂

Our participants definitely know how to keep us laughing here at C&C!

Yesterday’s adventure came with the golden 4WD rule — always check the depth of a water hole before driving through it. 🚙💦

Most people might grab a stick…

Not Mathew! 😂

Mathew decided the best way to check was to get straight in there himself! Safe to say, this young man isn’t afraid to get down and dirty! 🤣💦

And that hands-on attitude doesn’t stop at 4WD adventures.

🔧 Mathew is MAD about mechanics! 🔧

Give him something with a motor and he’ll happily get in there and start tinkering. From lawn mowers to cars, Mathew has built up plenty of knowledge and absolutely loves learning how things work, fixing them and getting his hands dirty.

He’s currently building up his own 4WD, getting it ready for when he gets his P’s — then look out, because he’ll be ready to hit the road! 🚙💨

But there’s one thing Mathew would really love…

👉 AN APPRENTICESHIP IN MECHANICS!

Mathew is keen, hands-on, willing to learn and ready for someone to give him an opportunity.

💙 Meals on Wheels Volunteering Day 💙

It’s been a little while since we’ve shared Dylan’s Meals on Wheels volunteering days, but today Dylan and Bre were back out and about delivering frozen meals to the elderly around Dubbo. 🚗💙

Dylan does this every week and absolutely loves it! He now knows all of his regular stops, knows everyone by name and really enjoys catching up with them each week for a chat and a friendly hello. 😊

For Dylan, it’s become so much more than just delivering meals. It’s about getting out in the community, building friendships and connections, and giving back to others.

We love supporting Dylan to do something he enjoys while also helping others in our local community. 💙

Great work today Dylan and Bre — we’re sure all your regulars were happy to see you! 🥰

Russell and Izaya headed to Woolworths to do a little shopping.

Russell supported Izaya to choose the items he wanted, scan them at the checkout and pay for his purchases himself. These everyday activities are a great opportunity for Izaya to continue building his independent living skills, confidence and choice and control. 🙌

At C&C Support Solutions, we don’t do it for you — we support you to do it for yourself. 💪

It’s all about learning, building confidence and developing the skills to become more independent in everyday life.

And of course, on the way home they spotted possibly the coolest mailbox ever 📬😂 — so they just had to stop for a photo!

The team at C&C Support Solutions would like to send a HUGE thank you to Marc, Amy and the amazing team at My Journey Australia for the absolutely beautiful flowers you sent us to celebrate our 1st birthday! 🎉🎂💐

It was such a thoughtful surprise and truly meant so much to our whole team. 💜

My Journey Australia, based in Campbelltown, are an incredible team of Support Coordinators who C&C have the pleasure of working alongside in supporting some of our participants.

Building strong relationships and working together with other passionate people in the disability sector is so important to us. At the end of the day, we all share the same goal — making sure participants are supported, heard and given genuine choice and control over their lives. 💜🩵

💜 A MESSAGE FROM TASH - THE FOUNDER 💜

OMG… what an incredible 12 months it has been! 🥹

I feel so blessed and grateful to have been a part of the lives of our past, current and future participants. Being welcomed into their everyday lives, being trusted to support them is something I will never take for granted.

From the very beginning, C&C has been about putting participants first, their choices, their goals, their lives and their control. We are there to support, encourage and walk beside them while they make the decisions about what their life looks like.

Watching participants build independence, try new things, achieve goals, create memories and sometimes accomplish things they never thought possible is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. 💙

I’ve also had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team. Getting to know each and every one of them and watching the genuine relationships they build with our participants has been just as special.

I want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported not only me, but our entire C&C family and our journey over the past 12 months. We honestly wouldn’t be where we are today without the trust and support of our participants, families, staff, support coordinators and wider community.

There have been laughs, tears, challenges, achievements, adventures and so many beautiful memories along the way.

At C&C, we believe every participant deserves to be heard, respected and supported to have choice and control over their own life.

We do what we do because we care.
We do it because people matter.
We do it to support independence, choice and control.
And we do it because making a difference is what C&C is all about. 💜
