First, a massive THANK YOU to the incredible Dr Mia. 💚 Mia has been an absolute pillar of care and support at our practice, and we are so incredibly grateful for the dedication, expertise, and warmth she has shared with every patient who walked through our doors. Please join us in wishing her the absolute best in her next chapter and we look forward to seeing her again!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Dr Leon is coming BACK to Dubbo! 🥳✨

Dr Leon officially starts back Saturday 6th June 2026.

To all of Dr Leon’s previous patients: he has missed you all, and he is incredibly eager to catch up, see how you've been, and help you get back on track with your spinal health, posture, and wellness goals.

✨ A Note from Jacqui and Dan: Practice Update and Familiar Faces

We are writing to share a long-awaited update about our practice family and the familiar faces you’ll be seeing in the clinic. 💙

👶 Since our son Jack arrived, we have been spending more time in Sydney to be closer to family. This has led us to open a sister clinic in Lane Cove, which is where we are now primarily based. 📍

🏡 While our day-to-day work has shifted, we still call Dubbo home and will be visiting regularly to check in on the practice, renovating our house, and staying connected with the community. We remain deeply involved in the background, working closely with our team to ensure the same standards of care you’ve always known. 🤝

🙏 We are incredibly grateful to have chiropractors Dr Mia and Dr Leon back with us this year. Both worked closely with Jacqui before joining the practice, and they are practitioners we trust implicitly.

🌾 Dr Mia, a Dubbo local who many of you know well, has been back with us since February. She will be providing care until Friday, 5 June, before she heads off for another adventure. ✈️ We have loved having her back and wish her the very best until we next see her again!

🔙 Dr Leon (who many of you remember from 2024) is returning in June! 🗓️ To make things as seamless as possible, Dr Leon will be in the clinic over the next week observing and catching up on cases with Dr Mia before she departs.

👋 To help keep the practice stable and running smoothly, we have also welcomed Aurora and Anne as Chiropractic Assistants. You may have already met them at the front desk or helping out in the clinic.

📞 Dan is still managing the practice and remains the main point of call on the phones for all your bookings and scheduling. You will see Dan from time to time behind the front desk with chiropractor Dr Jacqui in practice in future stints. 🗓️

Another big welcome to Anne, to the JC Chiropractic team! 🌿👋

Along with Aurora, Anne also joins us as a Chiropractic Assistant, bringing a wealth of practical experience and a heart for helping others.

Anne grew up between Port Stephens and far west NSW, so she’s a country girl through and through. With a background spanning farming, drafting, building design, and working with animals, she’s exactly the kind of "hands-on" person we love having in the practice!

A little more about Anne:

🏠 Country Heart: She has a deep love for community and the beauty of slow living.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family First: Anne is a proud wife and new mum who loves camping, baking, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

✨ Giving Back: Her faith is very important to her, and she’s a familiar face at her local church, where she stays busy serving in the youth group.

Aurora is incredibly friendly, easygoing, and passionate about being part of a health and wellness environment. Whether she’s managing bookings or greeting you with a smile, she’s dedicated to making sure your visit to JC Chiropractic is smooth, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment you walk through the door.

A little bit about Aurora:

🌏 Global Traveler: Originally from China, Aurora is fully bilingual in English and Chinese. Before making Australia home, she spent time exploring the stunning landscapes of New Zealand and Thailand!

🏡 Local Life: She has completely embraced the peaceful, scenic lifestyle here in Dubbo.

🌿 Off-Duty: When she’s not keeping us organised at the front desk, you’ll likely find her outdoors soaking up nature or tucked away somewhere cosy with a good book.

We are delighted to have Dr. Mia back at the clinic! As a proud Dubbo local, Mia has recently returned home after practicing in the Netherlands for the last 18 months, bringing a wealth of international experience back to our JC Chiropractic family.

Mia is an RMIT University graduate who believes in a professional, attentive, and holistic approach to health. Whether you are a regular at our practice or looking to start your wellness journey, Mia’s patient-centered care is designed to help you feel your best.

One of the simplest (and most powerful!) things you can do for your body is just keep moving. Our muscles are designed to work, stretch, and support us — and they stay healthiest when we use them regularly.

A quick reminder about missed appointments ❤️

We understand that things come up and plans can change — it happens to all of us. But if you’re unable to make your appointment, please let us know.

When a patient doesn’t show up and we haven’t been notified, it leaves a gap that could have been offered to someone else who really needed care. It’s also quite disruptive for our chiropractors, who have set aside that time specifically for you.

A simple call, text or online cancellation makes a huge difference and helps us keep things running smoothly for everyone.
