The Long Weekend is upon us so we have some changes to the fitness timetable.

💪 Monday 9:30am - Women's Strength is going ahead as normal

💪 Monday 4:00pm - Youth Strength and Conditioning will not be running for this week only.

💪 NEW Wednesday 5:30pm - Men's Strength Class starts this week.

All other classes running as normal.

Men's Strength Class - Starts Wednesday 10th June 💪

As we all know, I (Melissa) do all the social media around here so I thought who best to narrate a little clip about the man running the classes that really shows his personality! 😄

On the Professional Side...

Tristan is an ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer and Remedial Massage Therapist. He's been in the industry for 13 years.

We started running outdoor fitness classes with everyday mums and dads looking to get fit with their kids running alongside them.

Lately he has been training young athletes from WRAS for their chosen sports - Netball, Basketball, Cycling, Athletics and Soccer. And has been S&C Coach as part of the RISE program for young Rugby League players.

Now he's keen to work with more men his age who are still running around with kids, doing physical jobs and want to groan a little less 😄

On the Personal Side...

He's a Dad of two young boys, coach of our son's u7s Rugby League team and occasional waterboy or sports taper for our other son's u13s team.

He's a builder by trade so of course we are also renovating our house.

And for fun we have started cycling as a family to explore Dubbo while keeping fit.

At our son's footy game recently, we noticed something interesting.

A lot of the young athletes were getting taped before the game.

Now, some absolutely had legitimate reasons. Previous injuries, joint instability, or returning to play after rehabilitation are all situations where taping can be helpful.

But it got us wondering how many young athletes genuinely needed the tape and how many simply felt more confident with it on.

Somewhere along the way, being taped up seems to have become part of sporting culture. Almost like a badge of honour.

The challenge is that tape can provide support, but it doesn't address the problem underneath it.

If a young athlete feels they need tape every single game, it's worth asking why.

Are they recovering well?

Do they have enough strength for the demands of their sport?

Are they managing a previous injury?

Are they going through a growth spurt and struggling to adapt to a rapidly changing body?

These are often the conversations that matter most.

At Fearless Health, we believe the teenage years are the perfect time to build a strong foundation for life.

Strength, movement skills, recovery habits, and confidence in their body will support them long after their junior sporting days are over.

So many women have been told these things for years.

“It’s normal after kids.”
“You’re just getting older.”
“Stop lifting weights.”
“Do more Kegels.”
“You’ll have to live with it.”

The problem is… common does not always mean normal.

At Fearless Health, we see women every week who have quietly adjusted their lives around pelvic floor symptoms, pain or fear of movement because they thought they had no other option.

Regional Finalists - Excellence in Micro Business

On Friday night, we attended the Business NSW Western Region Awards Gala Night in Orange.

We had a fun night, getting dressed up and out of the gym gear for a while.

We didn't come home with the win and we are good with that. Because we know how special our business is and the beautiful community we have created.

We are grateful for our clients who trust us with their health and fitness. Our roomies who share the space with us. And our community of cheerleaders who support us every step of the way.

Some days we wanna give up because the s**t we deal with behind the scenes is ridiculous. But then we sit with our clients who share how their lives and bodies have improved, and we realise this is why we do what we do.

We hold space for people going through the toughest of times. We listen so they feel seen and heard. We show compassion and empathy to people who have felt invisible and ignored.

Awards are cool and all, but that feeling when you know you have helped guide someone through these challenges is what is the biggest reward for us.

Thanks for being part of our community.
