One of the biggest things I see when people start a detox is that they focus on what theyโre putting inโฆ
The supplements.
The juices.
The herbs.
The clean foods.
The things theyโre taking to support their body.
But thereโs another side to detoxing that is just as importantโฆ
ELIMINATION.
Your body is constantly processing and eliminating substances it no longer needs, and your elimination pathways need to be supported along the way.
Because you donโt want to simply focus on mobilising waste and then forget about supporting the bodyโs ability to eliminate it.
This is where I love incorporating colonics into a detox protocol.
A colonic can support the colon, one of the bodyโs elimination pathways by helping to release accumulated waste and keeping things moving.
Think of it as supporting the exit route. ๐ช
You can be doing all the โrightโ things with your detoxโฆ
But if your bowels arenโt moving well, youโre constipated, bloated or feeling sluggish, itโs worth looking at your elimination pathways too.
This is why I believe a good detox is about more than simply taking things out.
Itโs about supporting your body through the process.
โจ Support digestion
โจ Support hydration
โจ Support regular elimination
โจ Support your natural detoxification pathways
โจ And give your body the support it needs to do what it is designed to do.
Detox isnโt just about what youโre putting IN.
Itโs also about what your body is able to LET GO OF.
And thatโs why colonics can be such a beautiful addition to a well-supported detox.
๐ธ Spring is the perfect time to reset, release and create space for a healthier season ahead.
If youโre planning a detox this spring, donโt forget to support your elimination pathway.
