Today’s Heart Health session heard from our Naturopath Lena, who spoke on supplements such as Hawthorn as a cardiotonic, Gymnema for blood glucose control, Chromium which helps to increase the uptake of insulin and the importance of antioxidants for maintenance of blood vessel integrity.
Physiotherapist Pablo demonstrated some fun, easy exercises you can do at home, at the park, or even as you’re sitting waiting for your prescription! Every movement matters in the maintenance of your long term heart health! 🫀💪
