🌿 Which adventure would YOUR child choose? 🌿

One of the things I love most about children is how wonderfully different they all are. 🤎

One might immediately reach for the compass…

Another will have already decided exactly what treasures belong inside their little wooden box. 😂

Someone else will want to collect every feather, shell and interesting little thing they can find outside…

And another might be completely drawn to creating their own little Pocket Magic kit. ✨

That’s why I wanted each of our 5 School Holiday Creative Adventures to feel completely different.

🧭 Finding My True North
💎 The Treasure Keeper
🪶 Whispers in the Wind
✨ Pocket Magic
🌳 The Tree of Me

There’s no right one to choose — just the one that makes your little person think, “I WANT TO MAKE THAT!” 🥰

Each adventure runs in BOTH weeks of the school holidays, so families can mix and match the days that work for them.

21 September – 2 October
10am–12pm | Eagle Point
Ages 4–12 | $55 per adventure

Small groups, big imaginations and plenty of room to create. 🌿🤎

🌿✨ SCHOOL HOLIDAY CREATIVE ADVENTURES ARE COMING! ✨🌿

September is here, which means the school holidays are getting closer… and I’m so excited to finally share what I’ve been planning for Kaleidoscope. 🤎

Across the two weeks of the school holidays, I’ll be running 5 different Creative Adventures for kids aged 4–12.

🧭 Finding My True North
💎 The Treasure Keeper
🪶 Whispers in the Wind
✨ Pocket Magic
🌳 The Tree of Me

Each one is completely different, with its own hands-on project to create, explore and take home.

Children can come along for one favourite, choose a few… or experience all five. 🌿

And because every adventure is offered in BOTH weeks of the holidays, you can choose the dates that work best for your family.

📅 21 September – 2 October
⏰ 10am–12pm
🏡 Eagle Point
🧒 Ages 4–12
🌿 Small groups
✨ $55 per 2-hour Creative Adventure

Over the next few weeks I’ll introduce you to each of the adventures and show you a little more of what I have planned. 🥰

For now though… I’d LOVE to know:

Which adventure would your child choose first? 🤎

Bookings are now open — just send me a message if you’d like to reserve a place.

✨ A LITTLE SNEAK PEEK… ✨

We might only just be stepping into our Hidden Worlds, but I’ve already been quietly creating a little bit of magic for Term 4… 🏮✨

And I have a feeling this one is going to be pretty special. 🤎

Introducing our next 4-week creative journey…

✨ THE LIGHT WITHIN ✨

A little bit of magic.
A whole lot of imagination.
And something beautiful waiting to shine. ✨

That’s all I’m giving away for now… 😉🏮

More soon. 🤎

✨ A little space created with a whole lot of heart… ✨

Since moving to Eagle Point, one of the things I’ve really wanted to create was a dedicated little space for Kaleidoscope — somewhere that feels calm, welcoming and creative, and most importantly, somewhere people can simply come in and feel comfortable being themselves. 💚🌿

And it’s finally here. 🥰

There will probably always be another little thing I want to add or change along the way 😂 but standing back and looking at this room now makes me really happy.

I wanted to create a space that feels warm and inviting without being overwhelming. Somewhere creativity doesn’t have to be perfect or have a particular outcome. Where you can sit around the table, explore something new, make a mess, have a conversation, have a quiet moment, laugh, create, or simply just be.

Because for me, art therapy has never really been about creating something beautiful to take home.

It’s about what can happen while we’re creating. 💚

It’s about connection, expression, confidence, curiosity, discovering things about ourselves and sometimes finding a way to communicate something when words aren’t quite enough.

And now I finally have a little space dedicated entirely to that. 🌿

It also feels like a lovely time to share that I recently completed my Master Practitioner of Holistic Art Therapy, and I’m now continuing to work towards finishing my Diploma of Counselling. It feels really special seeing everything I’ve been working towards slowly finding its place — quite literally. 😂💚

At the moment, this little room is home to my children’s creative art therapy workshops, but it’s also a space I can use for individual one-on-one sessions with both children and adults.

Mostly though, I just wanted to share it. 🥰

A little look inside Kaleidoscope. 🌿🎨

A place to create.
A place to explore.
A place to connect.
And hopefully, a place where everyone who walks through the door feels welcome, comfortable and able to just be exactly who they are. 💚

I can’t wait to see all the creativity, conversations, little discoveries and memories that happen around this table. ✨

🌻 One day...

your child will no longer reach for your hand without thinking.

They'll stop asking you to watch every drawing they create.

They won't invite you into every imaginary world.

Childhood leaves so quietly.

We rarely notice it's happening until we're looking back.

So today...

leave the dishes for ten minutes.

Sit on the floor.

Paint.

Laugh.

Build something completely ridiculous.

Because while children may not remember every toy they owned...

they often remember how someone made them feel.

Safe.

Important.

Loved.

Sometimes the smallest moments become the ones that stay with us forever.

🌙 I often wonder...

What would happen if, instead of asking,

"What did you learn today?"

we asked...

"What made your heart smile today?"

Or...

"What made you feel brave?"

Or...

"When did you feel most like yourself?"

Because childhood isn't only about learning letters and numbers.

It's also about learning...

Who am I?

Am I enough?

Do I belong?

Those answers aren't taught.

They're felt.

And the way we respond to children today...

becomes the voice they carry inside themselves tomorrow.

🌸 Children are wonderfully honest.

Not because they always tell the truth...

but because they create the truth they're carrying inside.

Sometimes worry looks like tiny careful drawings.

Sometimes excitement fills an entire page.

Sometimes loneliness appears as one small figure surrounded by empty space.

Children don't always have the vocabulary to explain what's happening inside them.

But give them paper...

and often they'll show you.

Not because they're trying to make beautiful art.

But because they're trying to make sense of their world.

🍂 One of the saddest things I hear children say is...

"Is this right?"

Before they've even picked up the paintbrush.

Somewhere along the way...

many children begin believing that making mistakes means they're not good enough.

So today...

what if we celebrated the smudges?

The crooked lines.

The colours that accidentally mixed together.

The clay sculpture that fell apart three times before it finally stood.

Because life will ask our children to start again more times than we can count.

Art quietly teaches them...

"You can begin again."

Without shame.

Without judgement.

Just curiosity.

🌱 Sometimes I wonder...

How many magical worlds have disappeared because an adult accidentally said...

"That's not what trees look like."

Children aren't trying to recreate reality.

They're trying to show us how they experience it.

A purple sky.

A rabbit with wings.

A house floating on a cloud.

A monster with three smiling faces.

It all makes perfect sense...

if we stop looking through adult eyes.

Art reminds us that there isn't always one right answer.

Sometimes there are a hundred beautiful possibilities.

And perhaps that's exactly what childhood is meant to be.

A place where imagination is allowed to breathe.

🌧️ There are moments when children don't need advice.

They don't need consequences.

They don't even need us to make everything better.

Sometimes...

they simply need someone willing to sit beside them in the storm.

Not rushing them out of it.

Not distracting them from it.

Just quietly reminding them...

"I'm here."

As adults, we often feel pressure to fix every difficult feeling our children experience.

But feelings aren't problems.

They're visitors.

When children discover that sadness can be shared...
that anger doesn't scare us...
that tears don't push us away...

something beautiful begins to happen.

They slowly learn...

"Whatever I feel... I don't have to feel it alone."

And perhaps that is one of the greatest gifts we can ever give a child.
