A big thank you to Sue Dymond from SD Connect for the pivotal support she has provided to Tech Together.

Navigating the NDIS can be complex, and Sue has played an important role in helping us better understand the NDIS structure, how supports can be accessed, and how we can continue supporting families and participants to attend Tech Together sessions.

This support has made a real difference — not just for Tech Together, but for the young people and families who are able to connect, participate and build confidence through our programs.

Tech Together is Hiring!

Tech Together is growing, and we’re looking for someone to join us!

We’re seeking a casual support assistant to help facilitate small group sessions with young people in a relaxed, interest-based environment.

- Located in Eaglehawk, Bendigo
- 4 hours per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3:45-5:45pm.
- Potential for more hours in the coming weeks/months.
- Hourly rate to be determined.

You’ll be assisting the facilitator (Troy) to run small group sessions (4-8 participants), helping young people engage in activities such as:

- Gaming
- LEGO & creative builds
-Technology & hands-on projects
- Social interaction and group activities

Your role would be to support participants and help sessions run smoothly — you won’t be expected to run sessions independently.

This role may suit someone who:

- has experience working with young people and/or people with disability

or

- is currently studying (or interested in studying) fields such as:
Teaching / Education
Psychology
Occupational Therapy
Speech Pathology
Youth Work
Disability or Mental Health

We’re also looking for someone who is:
- Patient, friendly, and approachable
- Calm and supportive in their approach
- Interested in gaming, LEGO, tech, or creative activities
- Reliable and willing to learn

We finally have availability for term 2!!!!

We’re expanding our group capacity and now have spots available in our Term 2 social groups.

Sessions Available:
- Wednesday – 4:00pm–5:30pm (10-14yrs)
- Thursday – 4:00pm–5:30pm (10-14yrs)

Participants choose their own adventure!
- Gaming

- Technology & hands-on projects
- Social connection in a relaxed, supportive space

Due to an increase in interest and a need for more space (even more Lego and tech), Tech Together is now moving to 48 Church St Eaglehawk on the 23/2/2026. All Tech Together programs will be run at our new venue starting 23/2/2026.

Tech Together is growing and we’re looking for volunteers to help support small LEGO, tech, and gaming social groups in Bendigo

This role offers hands-on experience, mentoring, and the potential for paid employment as programs expand.

We’re seeking students or those with experience in the following areas:

• Speech Pathology
• Occupational Therapy
• Psychology
• Teaching / Education Support
• Disability / Allied Health

Time/dates: Weekdays 4:00–5:30pm sessions
- expanding to home school sessions weekdays

New LEGO Social Build Program (Ages 8–14)

We’re excited to launch a new LEGO-based social program designed for neurodivergent young people who love to build, create, and connect through shared interests.

Participants can choose to:
- build independently
- create custom LEGO designs
- join a collaborative group build that runs across the term

Details:
- Fridays 4:00–5:30pm
- Starting 30 January 2026
- Semi-structured, supportive, and interest-based
- Focus on creativity, teamwork & social connection
