I had some left over sweet potato pastry today after making some for an order so I turned it into this delicious quiche made with bits of whatever I had left over in the fridge.

It's a grey day here and I've been snug and warm in my kitchen baking for orders and getting a few little extra made for my family to enjoy over the coming days.

By ordering through me you not only access delicious, locally made to order, grain free, naturally gluten free, low carb, baked goods but you also support a local business and a local family. The cost of food is hitting many people hard so getting back to basics and making it simple, delicious and cost effective is the way to go. The long term benefit of eating clean whole foods is that your body, and your taste buds, will love you and you may just get to see a little bit less of your friendly Dr (please note this is not medical advice).

For those of you desperately waiting for the recipe for the deceptively simple but utterly delicious salted caramel chocolate tart I posted the other day. It's just two very simple recipes combined.

The first is the chocolate tart from the Primal Alternative recipe ebook, my first recipe contribution 🙂, super easy and super quick.
The second recipe is from of Quirky Cooking fame, her gut healthy chocolate caramel slice. I have used a half batch of the caramel filling.
Edited to add:
Filling:

Place all filling ingredients into bowl and cook 5 mins/80C/speed 3.

Blend 30 sec/speed 6.

Pour filling over base and place back into freezer to set. (Make sure dish is on a flat surface!)

It's as easy as 1,2,3
1. make the chocolate base, chill,
2. add the caramel filling, chill,
3. add the chocolate topping, chill.

Serve and try stopping at just one piece.



If you need the triple choc keto cookies for the base just let me know and I'll get that part sorted for you.

Mmmm pancakes for brekkie in our home today for pancake or Shrove Tuesday. So quick and easy, especially if you use low carb pancake mix, just add milk, eggs and maybe some vanilla.

Today's we're topped with fresh local strawberries, banana, yoghurt and a good splash or maple syrup.

This is a great brekkie option that's , naturally , and can be easily made as well

It's the little wins that keep me going. We've had to work smarter to make our current garden productive, 20 years of neglect, difficult access and small budget have seen us scratch our heads wondering how to do it. It's still not pretty but it is finally becoming a little productive. Harvesting and cooking my own home grown produce always make me feel good. Do you grow your own?
