26/05/2026
Today is National Sorry Day.
On this significant day, we honour and acknowledge the Stolen Generations - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were forcibly removed from their families and communities.
This year’s theme, "From Sorry to Action," reflects expectations that governments take urgent steps to create tangible and measurable change within survivors’ lifetimes.
Today is a time to stand in solidarity with the Stolen Generations to ensure this day is part of an ongoing commitment to truth-telling, healing and justice.

At the top center, the First Peoples Disability Network logo appears inside a white rounded box. A large orange-yellow circle in the center, featuring subtle Aboriginal artwork patterns, contains bold white text that reads “NATIONAL SORRY DAY.” Below this, smaller white text reads “26 May 2026.”
