Call for participants | Art and ageing enrichment program.

Fridays, 10am - 12pm, 18 September - 23 October.

Facilitated by artist River Mueller, this award-winning program enriches lives and enhances social interaction for seniors through engagement with the arts and hands-on, creative activities in an accessible, inclusive and supportive setting. Our wonderful volunteers support these sessions and a generous morning tea is supplied by the Lismore Country Women's Association. Participants are encouraged to attend all six sessions and must be aged 60 and over.

This program is free, thanks to the generous assistance of the Friends of the Lismore Regional Gallery. Registration is essential— call now (02) 6627 4606.

Voter-bloc: A community campaign against NDIS cuts has just launched, organised by disabled people and disability organisations.

The voter-bloc of people with disability, their supporters and carers, NDIS businesses and community allies, will target marginal and non-marginal seats and urge voters to stand together against the Australian Labor Party's cuts.

Any voter around Australia can sign on.

The voter-bloc aims to send a clear message to senators, who will debate the bill in just over a week in Canberra.

The voters are standing together to fight the ALP’s proposed NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme cuts.

The campaign asks all opponents of the cuts, including people with disabilities, carers, support workers and NDIS businesses to sign this to show votes count.

There's no need to do anything—it's just a test to ensure the emergency alert system is working correctly.

For some people, this alert may be confusing or distressing. If you're supporting someone at the time, please be aware that they may need reassurance and support to understand that it is only a test.
