All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have the right to culturally safe and responsive health care, free of racism and inequity.

As the organisations training and supporting Australia’s General Practice (GP) and Rural Generalist (RG) workforce, Joint Colleges Training Services (JCTS), the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) have a joint responsibility to educate on cultural safety and work towards reconciliation together.

JCTS General Manager, Anthony Paulson, and Operations Manager, Colleen Johnstone, met with ACRRM President Dr Rod Martin, ACRRM CEO and JCTS Board Member Marita Cowie AM, and RACGP President Dr Michael Wright in recognition of our joint responsibility during National Reconciliation Week.
