Dylan is an experienced dietitian who has worked both locally and across western QLD for over 5 years. After a 12 month break from clinical work, he’s ready to jump back in to support clients. We’re welcoming past clients of Dylan’s, plus lot of new ones, and he’s looking forward to supporting eating disorders, men’s health, and those with heart and kidney disease. 💛 Endometriosis and Adenomyosis - what’s the difference?

The two conditions can sound similar and often share overlapping symptoms, but they affect the uterus in different ways.

In short:

🌸 Endometriosis is a systemic condition that can impact the whole body, with endometrial like tissue growing outside the uterus.

🌼 Adenomyosis is a condition that affects the uterus, with endometrial like tissue growing into the muscular wall of the uterus.

If you experience ongoing period pain, heavy bleeding, or persistent pelvic discomfort, reach out to a gynaecologist or women’s health specialist for proper assessment and support, you deserve answers and relief. 💛
