We’re excited to share that Helping Solutions has joined Ageing Australia, the national peak body for aged care, and will be proudly sponsoring the WA State Conference 2026 as a Silver Sponsor.

As a member of Ageing Australia, Helping Solutions is now a part of the collective voice that sets expectations, standards and direction for the industry

The Ageing Australia annual conference event is a 2-day event helping to champion this conversation by providing an opportunity to connect with WA providers, leaders and innovators exploring the future of care. You can expect to meet professionals, thought leaders, and key stakeholders from across the aged care sector.

We are particularly looking forward to the interactive workshop and recap on rethinking the discharge pathway with Nick Elmitt (Head of Quality and Research) and A/Prof George Eskander (Executive Director Clinical Transformation & Performance at the Department of Health).

Our team will be attending this year’s conference to share information for sector leaders and providers navigating the transition to the Support at Home model, and to listen, learn, and exchange ideas with peers around workforce sustainability, and quality, person-centred care.

A little Artback Studio throwback for your feed 💚🎨

From textured bird making with air-dry clay and native leaves, to personalised watercolours and mindful moments at the table, these workshops are all about getting hands-on, trying something new, and making space for creativity in community.

Next up, we’re getting blossomy and bloomy (even if the weather wants to be winter🌧️).
🌸May Flowers: Bloom and Brush
A hands-on art and craft session where we’ll create floral pieces with simple materials, plus watercolours for anyone who wants to paint.

It’s gonna be MAY .... instead of shivering and getting gloomy we’re getting blossomy and bloomy with a little bit art and magic! 🌸🎨

Join us for May Flowers: Brush & Bloom. A hands-on art & craft workshop where you’ll twist pipe cleaners into gorgeous flowers AND colours the petals with chalks for that ombre effect. For the painters, we also have watercolours and will fill the room with plenty to inspire you.

No experience needed, just bring your creativity!

Recap of our Textured Bird Wall Art (Leaf + Clay) workshop yesterday! 🐦 🎨

Our attendees loved this textured, hands on workshop where they were able to get their hands dirty and create tangible artwork that they could display proudly in their homes!

We used air-dried clay and leaves found out in nature for this class. 🍂 The combination of leaves and fast-drying clay made for a creative and fun activity where attendees could experiment with different styles, choices and colours!

Join us for our next ARTBack Studio workshop: Textured Bird Wall Art (Leaf + Clay)🐦🍂

Our April workshop is a fun, creative project where we will be creating birds out of leaves. You will be able to hang this on your wall using a canvas after the workshop, or create a standing version using clay to display on a shelf!

This is the perfect, cosy Autumn workshop to enjoy inside with a cup of tea or hot chocolate as the weather gets colder.

Our workshops are open to everyone and considers the following:

🎨 SKILL LEVEL: no matter how beginner or experienced you are, we choose art activities that anybody can enjoy.

♿ ACCESSIBILITY: our workshops take place in accessible venues, considering wheelchair access.

**Some attendees use NDIS funding to attend as part of their goals and community access. See our ticketing options below for more information on how to attend.

Meet Alicia, our new Area Coordinator!

With a genuine passion for supporting people, Alicia has a background across aged care and community services delivering person-centred support that is focused on preserving dignity, independence and quality of life.

We knew Alicia was perfect for the role after our team visited Manjimup in November of last year to investigate first-hand the need for support in Regional WA.

Being a central hub connecting the majority of the South West region of WA, we noticed that Manjimup was severely under-catered when it comes to NDIS and aged care supports.....so we got straight to work to turn this around.

Over the past few months, with Alicia leading the charge, we've officially commenced NDIS supports and aged care Support at Home services in Manjimup, Collie, and other surrounding suburbs.

More importantly? We’re prioritising local hires (like Alicia) to stimulate job growth in the region—starting with coordinators and front-line workers who are central, know the area, and have immediate capacity to hit the ground running.

With the recent changes to aged care in WA, there’s never been a better time to explore receiving support in the comfort of your own home.

Plus, those living with disability will be able to access essential supports (such as community nursing, personal care, community access and respite) more easily as well.

Getting support might have been a challenge in the past, but we’re committed to help change this in 2026.
