Growing appetites, shrinking budget... sound familiar? 😅

Feeding a family well doesn’t have to cost a fortune. The trick is leaning on foods that are nutritious, filling AND affordable.

Swipe through for some easy go tos 👉 lentil bolognese, bean tacos, chickpea curry, tuna pasta bake, homemade pita pizzas and the budget hero that ties it all together: legumes 🫘

Adding lentils, chickpeas and beans to your meals stretches pricier meat further while adding fibre and protein.

Small swap, big savings 💙

Save this for your next meal plan, and share it with a fellow parent feeding hungry humans 👀

Cutting your own toenails can get harder than it sounds, especially with reduced vision, thickened nails, limited flexibility or reduced sensation 🚨

A few simple rules: cut straight across, not too short, file any sharp edges and never cut aggressively down the sides.

And please. Skip the at home “surgery” on ingrown nails, corns and calluses. Blades and corn treatments can damage the skin without you realising 👮🏼‍♀️

If it’s tricky to reach or see your feet, that’s exactly where we step in. It’s a completely normal reason to see a podiatrist 💛

Diabetes attracts a lot of opinions.

Even when it comes from a place of care, it can get exhausting, and you’re allowed to set boundaries around it.

Swipe through for boundary responses you can actually borrow for the dinner table food comments, the well meaning family, the workplace, and the stranger online with a “cure.”

Save this for the next time you need the words 💙
