A naturally curious person, Georgia remained passionate throughout her social work experience by seeing the impact of steady, relationship-driven work over time.

Motivated by fairness, safety, and protecting the well-being of vulnerable people, Georgia was drawn to social work from a commitment to inclusion, dignity, and supporting people to live self-directed lives.

What Georgia enjoys most in a leadership role is the opportunity to create structure, clarity, and a positive culture, building team confidence and support - all which ultimately flows onto our participants. 🍃

“All In” reminds us that reconciliation requires collective action — especially in creating culturally safe, inclusive, and accessible systems for First Nations people with disability.

First Nations communities continue to face significant barriers when accessing healthcare, disability supports, and essential services, particularly in remote areas.

Listening to lived experience, supporting First Nations-led solutions, and addressing systemic inequities are all part of meaningful reconciliation.

After 10 years away, one of our participants was finally able to return home. ✨

In this video, Courtney shares the story of one of her participants whose ultimate goal was to return to the community where he was born and raised.

Due to accessibility barriers and limited access to services, he had to move away from the community in Mulan to the closest township.

In a combined stakeholder effort and over a year of planning, he was able to return home where the community was waiting to greet him. 💜
