🌻Invisible Disabilities Week 🌻

It’s Invisible Disabilities Week (19–25 October)! 🌻

Around 80–85% of people with a disability have one that isn’t visible. These include neurological, cognitive, sensory, mental health, and chronic conditions that aren’t always immediately apparent.

Not all disabilities are visible — but a little understanding and kindness can go a long way in making everyone feel seen and supported.

World Health Organization (WHO) has launched the Disability Health Equity Initiative. This is a new global initiative to promote health equity for people with disability around the world.

It aims to help governments and peak bodies address barriers to make global health care more accessible.

Nicole is supported by support workers to live her best life to achieve her goals. ⭐️

She was supported to go to Heartland Speedway on Saturday 8th March, after patiently waiting when the February meet was cancelled.

Anyone that knows Nicole well, knows she loves any sort of motor racing. She had a great night but was very happy she didn’t stay until the end of the racing which we’ve been told was 12.30am 😮
