To see results from your Myotherapy Treament:

Avoid or decrease the time in aggrevating activity eg: sit for 20 min, stand for 20 min, move around or do a stretch and then repeat.

Try to habit stack those rehab exercises so you do them consistently.

Hi, I’m Carly, owner of Diamond Valley Myo + Exercise and Eltham Running and Trail.

I’m a Myotherapist, running coach,
coffee loving mum of 3 and someone passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger and reconnect with their bodies.

At Diamond Valley Myo + Exercise I combine hands-on treatment, movement, strength and exercise prescription to help treat the cause, not just the symptom. My clinic is designed to be a warm, safe and inviting space where people can slow down, reset and feel supported physically and mentally.

I also run Eltham Running and Trail. A welcoming community for serious runners, casual runners, jog/walkers and hikers wanting to move their bodies, build fitness and explore beautiful local trails together.

Both businesses were created to help people feel healthier, more connected and supported through movement, nature and community.

Cupping Marks give a Myotherapist a good understanding of what is going on under the surface.

If you have ever had cupping and had better movement afterwards,,it’s due to the tissue being pulled up and more blood circulation to heal and to have less stagnation in the area.

Have you ever wondered why some circles are darker than others?
Each mark gives us a clue about what’s happening in your body.

Cupping marks can look different on every skin tone.

* Very light / faint (all skin tones): Good circulation, minimal tension
* Pink / light red (lighter skin): Mild tension, surface-level restriction
* Subtle darkening or slight shadow (darker skin): Mild tension, early response
* Red (lighter skin): Recent irritation or inflammation
* Deeper brown / warm tone (darker skin): Active tension or irritation in the area
* Dark red / purple (lighter skin): Long-standing tightness, stagnation
* Deep brown / grey / ashy tone (darker skin): Chronic tension, more stubborn areas
* Yellow / light brown (lighter skin): Healing phase, clearing waste
* Softening, fading, less defined (darker skin): Healing and recovery happening
* Raised or more sensitive areas (all skin tones): Increased restriction or reactive tissue.

Stagnation of blood is slow or little flow and cupping can lift the tissue to help circulation within the area being treated.

We can’t believe that we are up to our 3rd hike, part of the Joy Hunters 3 part series!
The beginner and intermediate Hikes were awesome although the view from the top on our advanced hike is EPIC! Well worth the climb.
We only have 3 spots left and we would love to explore this piece of natures paradise with you.
With the Easter school holidays over this hike is the perfect excuse to put you first and give you the break that you need, natures medicine, sea breeze, mountain air, trees and a chance to breathe.
