“Will I still look like myself?”

It’s one of the most common questions I hear during consultations.

My answer is always the same: that is exactly the goal.

Natural aesthetics means different things to different people but for me it centres around respecting your unique features, taking a personalised approach and focusing on balance rather than trends.

As a nurse, my role is not only to provide treatment but to educate, guide and help patients make informed decisions that align with their goals.

Every face tells a story. I believe aesthetic medicine should complement that story, not change it.

If you’ve been considering a consultation and would like to learn more about my approach, you’re welcome to book an appointment or arrange a complimentary virtual consultation.

So grateful to have attended 2026 yesterday ✨ An amazing day filled with education, connection and conversations with some incredibly talented people within the aesthetic industry.

There’s something incredibly motivating about being surrounded by passionate industry leaders, innovative ideas and like-minded professionals who are all committed to elevating the standard of aesthetic medicine.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect and continue growing, not only as a registered nurse in aesthetics but as the founder of MUSE By Monique.

The learning never stops and neither does the passion behind what I do. Excited to bring fresh inspiration, knowledge and intention back into clinic for all of my beautiful patients.

Under eyes are one of the most common areas of concern I see in clinic. Fine lines, crepey skin and darkening can be difficult to treat, which is why Rejuran I is such an incredible option for this delicate area ✨

Top image: before any Rejuran I treatments
Middle image: 3 weeks after 1 Rejuran I treatment
Bottom image: 6 weeks after the patient’s 2nd Rejuran I treatment - before moving on to a 3rd treatment

For best results and longevity, recommendations are 3 initial treatments spaced 3–4 weeks apart, followed by a maintenance treatment every 6–12 months.

Results like these are why I love this treatment.

✨ Ever wondered why some skin just glows?

It all comes down to your keratinocytes - the cells responsible for building and protecting your skin barrier.

When these cells (and their membranes) are functioning properly, your skin stays hydrated, resilient and radiant. When they’re not… that’s when we see sensitivity, breakouts and premature ageing.

At MUSE By Monique, we take a clinical approach to skin - focusing on long-term skin health at a cellular level, not just quick fixes.

✨ Because real results start beneath the surface.

Nursing is more than a profession to me. It’s compassion, connection and care in every moment.

Feeling grateful to support patients through both paediatric community nursing and aesthetic medicine. Happy International Nurses Day to my fellow nurses everywhere. 🩺✨

The procerus is a central facial muscle that contributes to downward movement of the inner brow and the formation of horizontal lines over the nasal bridge. It works in coordination with nearby muscles to create facial expressions.

Why compliance protects you

When it comes to cosmetic medicine, compliance isn’t just about rules. It’s about your safety, your rights and your results.

At MUSE By Monique, every step of your journey is guided by strict professional and regulatory standards to ensure you receive safe, ethical and appropriate care.

Here’s why that matters:

✨ Qualified Professionals
Compliance ensures your treatment is performed by appropriately trained and registered health practitioners.

✨ Safe Prescribing Practices
Prescription-only treatments are carefully assessed and approved - meaning you’re only treated if it’s suitable for you.

✨ Honest, Transparent Care
You’ll receive clear information about risks, benefits and realistic outcomes. No pressure, no misleading claims.

✨ Infection Control & Clinical Standards
Strict hygiene and clinical protocols reduce risk and protect your health.

✨ Your Wellbeing Comes First
Ethical practice means saying no when a treatment isn’t in your best interest and always putting patient care above trends.

💬 Compliance isn’t there to limit you. It’s there to protect you.

Choosing a clinic that prioritises safety and ethical care ensures you’re in the right hands, every time.

Frown expressions are created by specific muscles that draw the brows inward and downward. The corrugator supercilii and procerus muscles play the primary role in this movement, while other muscles provide minor support.
