Hello, I am Tania, I am a wife and a mother and I am following my passion to be a Birth Doula. The word Doula (doo-lah) comes from the ancient Greek word, meaning, 'Women's Servant'. A Doula provides continuous e

motional and physical support, before, during and after childbirth. Doula's believe in 'Mothering the Mother', which then enables her and her partner to have a rewarding birth experience. While Doula's have a good knowledge and awareness of the birth process, we do NOT support the mother in a medical role. This is purely the role of the Midwife and Doctors. I will be there to support, encourage and inform you wherever possible and be by your side to help in any way you need.
