R U OK?

Today is a reminder of the importance of taking the time to check in with one another.

The question “Are you OK?” carries more than just the words; it carries feeling, acknowledgement, support, compassion and understanding. It shows someone that you care, that you have noticed a change in them, and that you are willing to take the time to genuinely listen to what they have to say.

You don’t need to change or fix someone, and you don’t need to worry about getting it right. These three simple words can open up a conversation and create a space where someone feels seen and heard at a time when they might be feeling alone, overwhelmed, carrying a heavy load or unsure of what to do next.

Being present and holding space through listening can be incredibly powerful. Sometimes we don’t need someone to give us the answers, we need the connection that reminds us we don’t have to navigate everything on our own.

There are resources and support available, so whether you are supporting someone else or you need support yourself, please reach out. I have included a list of organisations below that can help in Australia.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

Lifeline - 13 11 14
Text support is also available: 0477 13 11 14
24/7 for crisis support and su***de prevention services.

The Su***de Call Back Service - 1300 659 467

🌱 Spring Into Possibility

I love the smell and feel of Spring, and what it represents.

As we enter a new season, it feels like a new opportunity. A shift in energy, mindset and movement.

There’s something beautiful about emerging from Winter. Maybe it’s the change in temperature, seeing the first signs of new growth, and noticing what’s been quietly taking shape beneath the surface.

Spring feels like a beautiful invitation to release what’s no longer serving us, honour what we’ve been working through, and create space for new growth and possibility.

I am excited to see how it unfolds.

September is also my birthday month, and as I creep closer to 50 (next year 😳), I find myself seeing life through slightly different eyes.

There’s a deeper appreciation for the little things, greater focus on prioritising my nervous system and constantly readjusting to the reality of what is, rather than what I think it should be.

I’m letting go of what really isn’t important, feeling more gratitude and seeing the magic that can exist amongst the chaos and challenges. I’m learning to ask for support and accept that I don’t have to do it all.

And what I’m learning most is to honour my own uniqueness more and more. Embracing possibility, not by becoming someone new, but creating more space for who I already am.

Wishing you a gentle start to this new season.
Nicole 💚

Feeling it rather than finding it.

So much of what we do when we want clarity is try to find the answer.

We search through the mind or outside of ourselves, getting caught in the why, trying to understand and make sense of everything.

Sometimes we find an answer, but continue searching for more evidence, especially when the answer doesn’t match the story we already hold.

So what if, instead of always trying to find it, we felt it, connecting with the body and our intuition before immediately outsourcing the answer.

The mind is powerful for questioning and offering perspective, but it can create more confusion when we expect it to solve our inner experience. Sometimes we try to rationalise what we’re feeling instead of allowing ourselves to actually feel it.

And don’t get me wrong, the body isn’t necessarily flawless either. Trauma, conditioning and other people’s emotional energy can influence what we feel, which is why building a relationship with our body matters.

This isn’t about choosing the body over the mind. It’s about becoming curious about what is happening within us, rather than always searching outside of ourselves for the answer.

Because our inner world influences how we experience our outer world, sometimes we need to feel it. Not to find the “right” story, but to recognise what feels true.

If this resonates and you’d like to explore what your body might be communicating, I’d love to support you in a 1:1 session.

Together, we create space for both the mind and body to be heard, so you can reconnect with yourself.

You can also take my free Returning to Self 2-minute quiz, created for women who are holding it together on the outside, to gain clarity on what needs more of your attention right now.

Links are in my bio.

Holding it together can look a lot like coping.

You’re showing up, getting things done, helping others and moving through life - but underneath, there can be a lot going on.

And when you’re already carrying so much, it can be hard to know where to start.

That’s why I created Returning to Self.

It’s a free 2-minute quiz to help you gain clarity on what needs your attention right now - giving you one place to begin.

Over 7 days, I’ll send you a few emails with reflections and small practices to help you explore what comes up.

🫶 Take the free Returning to Self quiz through the link in my bio.
And if you do take it, I’d genuinely love to hear how you go.

Hello August 🤍

Here in the Southern Hemisphere, winter continues to invite us inward.

While the world often encourages us to keep pushing, nature reminds us that this season has a different rhythm.

August is a time for rest, conserving our energy, and inner nourishment.

It's a gentle invitation to slow down, listen to your body, and honour what you need instead of what you think you should be doing.

This month, consider asking yourself:
✨ Where am I focusing my energy?
✨ What needs nourishing instead of pushing?
✨ How can I create moments of stillness each day?
✨ What would it feel like to trust that rest is part of growth?

Healing and growth are also found in creating space to pause and reflect.

If this season is inviting you to reconnect with yourself, I'd love to support you.
🤍 Sunday 1:1 sessions are available, and bookings are open throughout August.
If you're ready to create space for your own healing and wellbeing, send me a message or book online.

May August bring you the calm, clarity, and gentle reminders your heart and nervous system have been asking for.

Take gentle care,
Nicole x

What becomes possible when our bodies no longer have to carry it all?

When we live in survival or constant overwhelm, our world becomes smaller because our bodies are already carrying so much. The more we carry, the less space there is to receive.

When our bodies and minds are carrying unprocessed emotions, beliefs, grief, fears, memories, and years of holding everything together, it's no wonder we feel exhausted, sluggish and disconnected from ourselves.

Our bodies remember what our minds have learnt to push aside. They communicate through tension, discomfort, aches, and that constant feeling of trying to keep up.

Survival doesn't just change how our bodies feel; it changes the way we experience life. We begin seeing the world through the weight we're carrying rather than through the possibilities around us.

The invitations hidden within challenges, the opportunities waiting beside the obstacle, the beauty in ordinary moments, and the quiet wisdom within us become much harder to recognise.

Not because they aren't there, but because our bodies are already carrying so much.

Over time, our relationship with ourselves begins to change too. We question ourselves more, trust ourselves less, and the voice of self-criticism slowly becomes louder than our intuition.

As our bodies begin to let go of what they have been carrying, space begins to return. Space to be present. To see differently. To dream. To notice what was always there. From that space, we reconnect with the wisdom that has never left us - it was simply waiting beneath everything we had been carrying.

✨ What would become possible if your body no longer had to carry it all?

🤍 If you're ready to create more space within your body and your life, I'd love to support you.

During the school holidays I have appointments available:
• Today to Friday this week
• Friday and Sunday next week

Here in the Southern Hemisphere, July brings the heart of winter and the energy of the Full Moon - a beautiful reminder to slow down, reconnect, and come back to yourself.

This month, my beautiful friend Hulda from Creative Kinesiology - Holistic Healing & Wellness in South Africa and I are making a personal commitment to our own healing, growth, and expansion.

Making July intentional through goal setting, morning rituals and supporting each other with encouragement and accountability. Celebrating each step, no matter how big or small.

I'd love to invite you to make a commitment to yourself too.

Be intentional this month by focusing on:
✨ What goal or intention feels meaningful to you?
✨ What feels nourishing and supportive?
✨ How can you honour and nurture your nervous system?
✨ What daily rituals help you feel grounded and connected?

Gently come back to yourself and what feels aligned.

May this be a beautiful way to step into the second half of the year - filled with more connection, more clarity, and more moments that feel deeply true to you.

Here's to a beautiful July. 🤍

The reason I work with the body...
The body remembers what the mind cannot always explain.
When we create safety within the nervous system, the body has the opportunity to process what has been held for so long. Healing becomes less about analysing the past and more about reconnecting with the wisdom already within us.
Your body is not working against you. It has been trying to protect you all along.

Transformation happens in layers, and over time I've come to appreciate that each layer has its own purpose. Our body has an incredible wisdom, revealing only what we are ready to explore as our sense of inner safety grows.

Rather than revealing everything at once, each layer gently invites us to pause, become curious, and deepen our understanding. As one layer settles, another naturally unfolds, gradually changing the way we experience ourselves, our relationships, and the world around and within us.

One of the biggest lessons in my own journey has been learning that healing isn't only about meeting pain. It's also about learning to receive support, experience joy, and allow peace without anticipating the worst.

The shifts don't always feel significant in the moment, yet over time they gently reshape the way we feel in our body, the way we see ourselves, others, and life, until one day we realise we're no longer seeing through the same lens.

🤍 What has life been inviting you to become aware of lately?
____

A gentle reminder that prices will be increasing from 1 July. If you've been thinking about working together, you're welcome to book before then to secure the current pricing.

Endless blessings,
Nicole x
