Support coordinators, occupational therapists, allied health clinicians and disability professionals are invited to our Wyong Vertical Village Open Day.

Come and see what Supported Independent Living (SIL) can look like.

At Wyong, members have their own self-contained apartment, with their own front door, kitchen and bathroom. Support is shaped around each person’s individual NDIS plan and Roster of Care, with the opportunity to be part of a connected community.

Tour the Village and apartments, meet the team and learn how the Vertical Village model works in practice, including who it may suit.

You’ll also hear from Sarah Kelly, Occupational Therapist, on changes in SIL practice and compliance expectations, and how we’re applying them within our Vertical Village model.

Whether you’re supporting someone exploring SIL now or simply want to better understand SIL options on the Central Coast, it’s a chance to ask questions, get to know the people behind the service and connect with other professionals over lunch.

Art, fresh air and a little friendly competition!

The Rise Up crew spent today visiting the Resilience & Revival exhibition in Chatswood before heading to Balmoral Beach for park tennis in the winter sunshine.

Last week, United for Care hosted the Inner West Disability Forum, equipping disability providers with practical insights into the upcoming NDIS reforms.

Hosted by our National Partnerships Manager, Kelsey Macready, the panel featured industry experts Tania Gomez, Kezia Kingston and Fadel Fadel, who shared their perspectives on what these changes mean for the sector, the people we support, and the practical steps organisations can take now to prepare.
