Hi all. TLC Independent Living & Support Services is a family owned NDIS registered provider organisation and we have vacancies for support workers.

Our services include quality learning and life skills to assist the development of people with disabilities, and the aged to provide holistic care and support. We provide quality staff to help support participants, whether it be SIL accommodation, In-home Support or Community participation.

Our goal is to help our participants achieve the best quality of life that they can and to put their wants and needs first.

We are looking for like-minded people with good core morals and values, who have a passion for helping others, to join our team. Health care and therapy students make awesome support workers and this work helps improve your nurturing skills.

Job Description and duties:
Assisting participants with daily activities, domestic assistance, personal care and community access.

Following care plans and ensuring that our participants work towards their goals, dreams and aspirations.

Developing and maintaining a safe work environment.

Follow our policies and procedures.

Working with all levels of the organisation to ensure that quality services are being provided.

Brisbane Northside, Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Southside to Logan.

Some weekend, active/inactive shifts maybe required

To join our team, you will need:

Positive energy and enthusiasm

Work actively as part of a team and individually to ensure quality service.
Be caring, honest and reliable.
Be willing to assist with personal care and domestic duties.
Have a current first aid/ CPR.
Have a current driver’s licence, reliable car and full comprehensive car insurance.
NDIS Worker Orientation Module required or willing to obtain.
Current yellow and blue card or willing to obtain.
Reliable vehicle.
Excellent English and communication skills.

Census Night is Coming – Do You or Someone You Support Need a Helping Hand?

Census Night is an important opportunity for every Australian to be counted, and for some people, completing the Census can feel overwhelming.

At TLC Independent Living & Support Services, we’re here to make things a little easier.

Our support workers can assist participants by:
💙 Providing gentle guidance through the questions.
💙 Reading information aloud if needed.
💙 Supporting independence while respecting each person’s choices and privacy.
💙 Helping reduce anxiety and making the process feel less stressful.

Whether you live with a disability, have difficulty using technology, experience anxiety, or simply need a little extra support, you don’t have to do it alone.

Every person deserves to have their voice counted.

If you’re a current TLC participant and think you may need assistance, please let your Support Worker or Support Coordinator know before Census Night so we can help you prepare.

Together, we can make Census Night a positive and empowering experience.
