What a wonderful afternoon we had at Oxa Care! 💙🎶

The talented students from St Monica’s performed for our residents, and what a special afternoon it was. Our residents couldn’t stop talking about the students and thoroughly enjoyed listening to their beautiful singing and performances. 🌟

It was an especially emotional moment for our resident John, who was moved to tears when he was surprised to see his granddaughter singing. ❤️ What a beautiful and memorable moment for them both.

A huge thank you to Wendy and the wonderful team at St Monica’s for organising such a lovely afternoon for our residents. We truly appreciate you bringing so much joy, music and happiness to our home. 🌷🎵

Today, Oxa Care proudly celebrated Aged Care Employee Day, recognising the incredible dedication, compassion, and hard work of our amazing team.
To show our appreciation, we hosted a delicious sausage sizzle for all staff. Our Directors joined the celebration to personally thank every team member for their ongoing commitment to providing exceptional care.
Our Director of Nursing, Maricar, together with our Directors, presented staff with Certificates of Appreciation and thoughtful gifts as a token of gratitude for their outstanding contributions.
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was sharing heartfelt thank you messages from our residents' families. Reading their words of appreciation reminded us all of the positive difference our staff make in the lives of those we care for every day.
To our wonderful team, thank you for your kindness, dedication, professionalism, and the genuine care you provide. You are the heart of Oxa Care, and today we celebrate you.

🎄✨ Christmas in July at Oxa Care! ✨🎄
Our residents and their families came together to celebrate Christmas in July, and what a wonderful afternoon it was!
Our talented Catering team prepared a delicious feast for everyone to enjoy, while the incredible Lina Bellofiore kept the celebrations alive with fantastic entertainment. The dance floor was full all afternoon as residents, families and staff sang, danced and shared plenty of laughs.
The room was beautifully decorated with festive Christmas decorations, and everyone embraced the spirit of the day by wearing their favourite Christmas colours and festive gear.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. It was a fantastic celebration filled with joy, laughter and wonderful memories. We can't wait for the next one! ❤️🎅🎁

🌞 Another wonderful day at Bunnings! 🌿🎨
Our residents had a fantastic time enjoying a bigger mosaic project, with everyone busy cutting tiles, painting their pots, and getting creative. It was truly an all hands on deck kind of day, filled with laughter, teamwork, and lots of smiles!
A heartfelt thank you to Bunnings Epping for joining us and supporting this wonderful activity. We would also like to give a special thank you to our amazing volunteer, Heather, for generously giving her time and helping make the day so special.

👩‍🍳🥕 Cooking Group – Fun, Friendship & Freshly Made Fritters! 🥔☕
What a fantastic afternoon in our Cooking Group! Our residents had a wonderful time coming together to make delicious homemade fritters.
Everyone got involved, with each resident taking on an important role. From chopping vegetables and grating fresh carrots to mixing the ingredients, there was plenty of teamwork, laughter, and conversation. Activities like these encourage independence, build confidence, and create meaningful social connections.
The best part was enjoying the warm, freshly cooked fritters together with a cup of coffee while sharing stories and plenty of smiles. Moments like these make our community feel like home.

Our residents and their families enjoyed a wonderful day out at Casa D'Abruzzo, sharing a delicious lunch in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was a fantastic opportunity to relax, enjoy great food, and spend quality time together.

A Wonderful Cultural Outing at the Macedonian Club

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Macedonian Club on Monday, spending time with friends, dancing, sharing stories, and enjoying the warm community atmosphere.

At Oxa Care, we value opportunities that help our residents stay connected to their culture, traditions, and community. Outings like these are a wonderful way to celebrate cultural heritage, strengthen friendships, and create meaningful experiences that bring joy and a sense of belonging.

🌳🎨 Today at Oxa Care, our residents enjoyed a relaxing and creative Fingerprint Tree painting session! 🎨🌳

It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and proud of their artwork. With soothing background music playing throughout the activity, residents were able to relax, unwind, and fully enjoy the creative process. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and a real sense of accomplishment as each unique tree came to life.

What a fantastic day celebrating Italian culture at Oxa Care! Our entertainment room was beautifully decorated with Italian flags and posters, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
Residents were treated to a delicious Italian lunch, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. In the afternoon, Sam the entertainer had everyone singing, dancing, and celebrating together, filling the room with laughter, joy, and wonderful memories.

What a wonderful Men’s Group session at Bunnings this month! 🎨🔨

Our residents had a fantastic time creating beautiful mosaic pieces while enjoying hands on activities using different tools. The session encouraged everyone to get involved, learn new skills, and most importantly, spend quality time socialising and connecting with others.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and teamwork throughout the activity, making it a very enjoyable experience for all involved.

A huge thank you to the Bunnings activity organisers for giving us this wonderful opportunity each month. We truly appreciate your ongoing support and welcoming environment for our residents.

We look forward to visiting again next month! 💙
