It was over 30 years ago at uni when a well worn copy of the 1993 1st edition of Brukner & Khan's 'Clinical Sports Medicine' was the most treasured book in the library of our share house.
Scroll forward a few decades, and it's a proud day to receive an author's copy in return for writing a section in the just published 6th edition. Like it has been ever since the 1st edition, this text book is the first place we go to look up anything that relates to sports medicine, just as it is for tens of thousands of practices, students and doctors all over the world.

As it was for the 4th and 5th editions a few years ago, it is a privilege to be asked to contribute as one of 90 authors, so called experts from across the globe. Thanks for having me share my advice on trunk side strain injury in sport. Before I started my research there wasn't really much to look up anywhere, so I hope this helps practitioners wherever they may be. Our team here will certainly benefit every day from the wisdom of the other 89 authors!

It's been a busy off season here. We have teamed up with 4 more football clubs with 2026 Physio Partnerships and now have 8 clubs who have entrusted us across football & AFL.
Every weekend we will have at least 11 of our physio and physio student crew providing match day coverage on the side lines, doing what we do best - keeping players on the park, sometimes picking up the pieces and ensuring that players get what they need to get back to their best.
