Another gorgeous retreat this weekend with .hamilton . up.retreats

Heres just a tiny sample of some of the meals we made.
Dishes like -
Rustic Italian meatballs with roast fennel & sundried tomatoes.
Pan fried Pearl Perch with balsamic grapes, rocket & lemon dill aoli.
Thai inspired banquet.
Warm spiced banana & ginger pudding with miso butterscotch sauce.
And so much more, a feast of healthy flavours from around the world.

Here we have our tender free range marinated pork fillet with grilled peaches, low oil high protein mustard aoli, greens and sweet potato mash.

Our last few days in Ubud saw more fabulous foodie experiences.
Both of these restaurants feature a modern take on Indonesian classics.
The first is part of the Locavor group and truly lived up to their reputation of clever and authentic flavours. From beef tongue, to crab curry, everything was delicious.
The second focuses on cooking with fire and smoke, the duck dish with charred coconut sambal and peanut cucumber salad was a stand out.
When they saw me taking photos they invited me into the kitchen to show me what they were doing, such a lovely, friendly, well organised team 🙏 Suksma

So much good food in Ubud, and the service is second to none, from cheap local warungs to high end restaurants, you're always made to feel welcome and cared for.
