Joy's Century of Smiles
Residents, family and friends at GraniteHill Aged Care celebrated a remarkable milestone as Joy turned 100 years old. The celebration included a special morning tea, with a fellow resident baking a beautiful chocolate cake for Joy. We also welcomed Annabelle Cleeland MP for a special visit.

A keen artist, Joy loves spending her time drawing and creating artwork. Her creativity and cheerful nature have made her a much-loved member of the GraniteHill community.

Joy is the proud mother of four and feels incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such a caring and loving family.

When asked the secret to reaching 100, Joy smiled and shared her simple philosophy:

"Smile first, and then everything eventually falls into place."

She believes a positive attitude is the key to overcoming life's challenges.

"If you have a positive attitude, you'll get the right foothold and can move forward," she said.

After a century of life, Joy's wisdom, creativity, optimism and deep appreciation for family continue to inspire everyone around her.

GraniteHill was delighted to welcome Neale Poole for the final Friday Swoop of the year today. We were also thrilled to host champion netballers Avie Hill and Bethan Burton, who proudly brought along the championship cups from the weekend's grand final victory. Adding to this special occasion, we were honoured to welcome Peter Foott, Chair of the Goulburn Valley League, and Andrew Hill, Vice President of the Euroa Magpies Football Netball Club.

What an amazing afternoon it was for our residents, who thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate the club's success and spend time with some of our local sporting champions.

Euroa Secondary College brings Macbeth to GraniteHill

Residents and staff at GraniteHill were recently treated to a special performance by students from Euroa Secondary College as part of their annual school musical. This year, the talented students presented scenes from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, bringing the famous story to life.

Lead roles were performed by Charles Downie, Indi Holloway and Will Dunn, who were joined by English teacher Will Lawson.

The performance was warmly received, with students showcasing impressive acting and storytelling skills. Staff and residents enjoyed the opportunity to experience the creativity and enthusiasm of the young performers.

GraniteHill extends its thanks to Euroa Secondary College for sharing a part of their annual production and looks forward to welcoming the students again in the future.
