“What if my kids look back on a lifetime of our love, only to be able to tell when Dad started showing the natural signs of a life lived, of years going by, and Mum just started looking…different?

Where did those lines between her eyebrows go? The ones that we see when she laughs so much she cries?
Why couldn’t she just age like Dad?

If the man next to her was growing older, who was she trying to impress by being left behind?

What was I holding onto? And for who?”

In 2016 we were worried about the internet. 10 years later not much has changed. There’s no doubt there are positives, a platform intended for connection, so why are we all left feeling so much disconnection? And what does beauty have to do with it all?
