Ancient feminine mysteries are one of the main reasons I am drawn to Egypt.
These mysteries are for anyone, everyone, not just for those who see themselves as being spiritual. From my experience, to connect powerfully with these ancient and present mysteries, we are asked for our devotion. What is often mistaken is that the devotion is to another, a Goddess, a path... for me, the devotion is to ourselves. To staying in the heart and choosing to stay in the heart. To see through the eyes of the heart.
Mystery itself is not a puzzle that only a few people are allowed to solve.
Mystery is the space where you meet what cannot yet be fully explained and still rest in the calm cradle of your heart and say yes, something within me understands, and that is enough.
It is the place where intuition becomes louder than certainty.
Where the body begins to recognise something before the mind has language for it.
Where a symbol, a river, a temple, a dream, a prayer, a goddess, a moment of beauty can open a door inside you.
Anyone can enter this; there is no special qualification required.
There is only a choice to be present with what you are witnessing and a choice to become available, curious, receptive to what you are being shown.
A choice to follow the thread. A choice to honour what your heart has been quietly saying, even when you do not yet know where it will lead.
This is the kind of devotion I also feel in the divine Goddess Isis. A devotion that gathers what has been scattered, like she did for her beloved Osiris. A devotion that remembers what whole looks like, feels like.
A devotion that keeps moving toward love, truth, wholeness and sacred relationship.
Sometimes we wait for certainty before we move. Mystery asks for something more intimate. It asks whether you are ready and only this. Whether you are willing to step closer.
Whether you will keep listening once the first door opens. You do not need to know the whole path.
You need only the courage to choose the next true step, and the devotion to keep following what your heart already knows.
Isis waits at the threshold.
