Monday Reflection ✨ “Self-awareness is the first step toward growth. You cannot change what you do not acknowledge.”

🌿 “The better you know yourself, the less you need the approval of others.”

🤍 “Growth begins when you become aware of the patterns that no longer serve you.”

✨ “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” — Aristotle

🌱 “Self-awareness isn’t about judging yourself; it’s about understanding yourself.”

💫 “Pay attention to what triggers you, inspires you, and brings you peace—there is wisdom in all of it.”

🌸 “When you become aware of your thoughts, you become empowered to choose your response.”

🤍 “The most important conversation you will ever have is the one you have with yourself.”

✨ “Awareness creates choice, and choice creates change.”

🌿 “Healing begins the moment you become curious about yourself instead of critical of yourself.”

“Self-awareness is the bridge between who you are and who you are becoming.” ✨

If you have winter ❄️ clothes or items you can donate to our friends at Please bring them in as I will have a donation box onsite until Friday 26th June #. Winter can be brutal when you don’t have a safe, warm place to call home.

While many of us rug up indoors, there are people in our community facing cold nights, wet clothes, empty stomachs, and the harsh reality of sleeping rough.

At Soul Hub, we see it every day.

This winter, we’re inviting our community to come together and support people doing it tough through our Winter Appeal.

We’re collecting Winter Warmers including:
Warm jackets
Thick socks
Beanies
Sleeping bags
Chunky soups & other tinned food
Milo, coffee & long life milk

Every item donated helps bring warmth, dignity, comfort, and hope to someone who needs it.

Because no one should face winter alone. Thank you 🙏🏽

🔥 Fire Cupping Therapy 🔥

Fire cupping is a traditional therapy used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). A flame is briefly placed inside a glass cup to create a vacuum, and the cup is then applied to the skin. The suction gently lifts the tissues, helping to increase local circulation, release muscle tension, and promote the smooth flow of Qi and Blood.

Many people use fire cupping to help with:
✔️ Tight muscles and stiffness
✔️ Neck, shoulder, and back pain
✔️ Sports recovery
✔️ Stress and tension
✔️ General wellbeing

The circular marks left after treatment are not bruises. They are temporary signs of increased blood flow and usually fade within a few days to a couple of weeks.

Restore movement. Release tension. Support your body’s natural healing process.

🌿 Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is:

中医 (Zhōng Yī)

* 中 (Zhōng) = Chinese / central
* 医 (Yī) = medicine

👉 So 中医 (Zhōng Yī) literally means “Chinese medicine.”

* Qi (energy flow): Health depends on the smooth flow of vital energy through the body
* Yin and Yang: Balance between opposite forces (e.g., hot–cold, active–rest)
* Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water—used to explain body functions and disease. 🔑💪🏻❤️🙌🏻 💟☯️

RESET 🌿 practice what you preach!!
Feeling tired, bloated, or foggy? In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this often points to weak Spleen Qi—the body’s power source for digestion, energy, and nourishment.

Your Spleen helps:
• Transform food into energy
• Support healthy digestion
• Keep your body feeling strong and focused

One powerful point we use is Spleen 3 (Taibai)—known as the “source point” to strengthen and restore Spleen Qi. When this point is supported, it can help improve energy, reduce bloating, and bring your system back into balance.

Gua sha (刮痧) is a traditional therapeutic technique within Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves repeated unidirectional scraping of the skin surface using a smooth-edged instrument (e.g., jade, horn, or ceramic). The practice is intended to stimulate cutaneous microcirculation and modulate physiological processes.

From a TCM theoretical perspective, gua sha is grounded in the concepts of:

* Qi (vital energy)
* Blood stasis (impaired circulation of blood)

According to this framework, illness or pain is often attributed to stagnation of qi and blood within the meridians. Gua sha is believed to “release the exterior,” promote circulation, and restore the harmonious flow of qi and blood, thereby alleviating symptoms such as musculoskeletal pain, fever, or respiratory conditions. #
