Someone's very happy to have me home from hospital 🐾💖

I came home from the hospital with my hubby late Friday afternoon and was greeted with tippy tappys, awoo's, excessive tail wags, cuddles and kisses.
Miss Layla missed her mummy very much 🥰

Coming home to my husband and daughter was lovely, but we weren't able to get to the bottom of things, this admission ended up being more about ruling things out and pain management.
So we're still trying to figure out what's happening in my body, and manage the pain, but at least we've ruled some things out. I'll be following up with my GP, my Neurologist and my Pain Specialist.

I'm thankful to be home with the ones I love 💕

Well I'm still in hospital, but I'm trying something different with my tea this morning, Lipton Black Tea and Twinings Peppermint, it's different but tasty, especially with a little sugar.

I'm not sure how much longer I'll be in here, they're still trying to figure out what's going on, and they've come up empty so far.
There going to consult with a neurologist, to see if they can figure something out. And I'm waiting to see the physio, OT, social worker and a pain specialist.

And I'm in hospital again, and why not start the day with breakfast, tea and dragons!

This time the admission was somewhat kinda planned with my neurosurgeon, they're trying to figure out what the hell is going on. And help manage my pain.
I have a host of rather concerning neurological symptoms, but they can't quite figure out if all the symptoms are from one thing or more.... So LOTS of tests!!!

I'm thankful that this hospital trip they're actually doing something, rather than just getting my pain levels down and kicking me out.

Having a cup of Sleepy Time, taking some time to get my body ready for sleep and an early night in.

Tonight I did this by boiling the kettle and having some tea whilst I take a moment and be mindful, to truly enjoy and feel the benefits of my nighttime ritual.

I do this by engaging my senses and quieting (or at the very least trying to) my mind.
By focusing on my senses and mindfully drinking the herbal infusion I feel calm, relaxed and ready to climb into bed.
Everyone has their own nighttime routines and rituals.
There are nights I don't do any of this, but I find a sleep deeper if I do.

This relaxing, calming brew will help me get to sleep, stay asleep and sleep deeper... as each ingredient is well known to aid sleep, insomnia, relaxation and anxiety.

I find this very useful ATM as I have been rather unwell and completely exhausted.
I have been in hospital (ED visits and hospital admissions) EIGHT TIMES since February... I've been dealing with cervical spinal issues again. I've now got the diagnosis of Craniocervical Instability, but we've also discovered that I've got some spinal cord narrowing with it.

Enjoying some of our Blueberry Butterfly White Tea this afternoon in the Gong Fu (功夫) style of brewing tea in a glass Gaiwan (a traditional tea/cha vessel).

Blueberry Butterfly White Tea, is a delicate organic white tea blended with the captivating flavour of blueberries, exotic butterfly pea flower and bright hibiscus.
A healthy, delicious, and thirst-quenching low caffeine tea with a deep purple appearance.

Gong Fu is a traditional Chinese brewing method using a high leaf-to-water ratio and short, with repeated steepings. There is a focus on tasting how the flavours and aromas of the tea change and evolve over many successive rounds.

My tea pet today is a resin colour changing fox.
In many Asian folklores, the fox and the sacred nine-tailed fox represent intelligence, good fortune, longevity, peace, transformation and prosperity.

Having some Soothing Tummy herbal tea this afternoon to relax and help settle my tummy, reflux and bloating.

It's a specifically formulated blend using ingredients known to aid in digestion, bloating, gastrointestinal discomfort, calming and soothing tummy upsets.
It contains primarily gentle digestive herbs such as marshmallow root, chamomile, lemon balm and small amounts of activating herbs like ginger and fennel.
The balance between gentle, soothing and activating is an important one, especially if you have digestive system issues.

Imagining I'm somewhere else today, escaping a chilly winters day with a pot of our Moroccan Mojito...
Instead I'm somewhere tropical, on a beach enjoying a Moroccan Mojito cocktail 🍹🏖️

Inspired by the cocktail, this tea is a super refreshing, thirst quenching and cooling blend of sencha green tea, peppermint and lime will hit the spot, making tea-time feel like happy hour.

Normally I'd recommend this as an iced/ cold brewed or as a mocktail/ cocktail infusion, but it can also be enjoyed hot.
I'm having it hot today, to warm up and imagine I'm somewhere tropical.
It's still refreshing, thirst quenching and cooling thanks to the ingredients.

Having a chill afternoon reading a book and a cuppa ☕📖💖

Relaxing with some Madame Grey...
Where Earl Grey can come on too strong, Madame Grey tea offers a delicate touch.
This zesty loose leaf lady takes notes from the traditional Earl Grey toning down the bergamot, adding dried citrus and the delicate flavours of blue and purple cornflowers.
Enjoyable with milk or on its own.
