Menopause doesn't read the textbook.

The symptoms women share with me are often the ones no one talks about — the buzzing skin, sudden anxiety, itchy ears, heart palpitations, rage, dizziness, brain fog, aching joints, tears over nothing, and feeling like they've somehow become a stranger to themselves.

The truth is, menopause looks different for every woman. Your experience is valid, even if it doesn't match someone else's.

And you'll see the pattern....declining estrogen and progesterone...they have alot to answer for. And as a woman in the throws on perimenopause myself I have a big connection to knowing alot about this subject and its helping my female patients understand the whys.

We are not crazy....or in our head, that feeling of not being yourself can be confusing.

You don't have to figure it out alone. I'm here to listen, support, educate, and help you navigate this chapter in a way that works for you.

Why do I share my weird perimenopause experiences?

Because if I've thought, felt, googled, cried, laughed, or questioned it... chances are another woman has too.

Perimenopause can bring some truly random symptoms, and too many women are left wondering, "Is this normal?"

I'm an open book because real conversations help remove fear, confusion, and the feeling that you're the only one going through it.

So if I overshare about brain fog, sudden rage, sore joints, weird sleep, or another unexpected symptom, it's for a reason.

The more we talk about it, the less alone we feel.

And if you're navigating perimenopause and looking for answers, support is only a message, email, or appointment away

Hi, I’m Naomi.
I’m a Bachelor-qualified Clinical Nutritionist and am in the final stages of completing my degree in Naturopathy.
Why does that matter? Because your health deserves more than a surface-level approach.
With over 10 years of combined holistic and medical education and training, I look beyond symptoms to understand the bigger picture of your health. My focus is on uncovering the underlying factors influencing how you feel and creating practical, personalised strategies that work for you.
Almost two years into running my own clinic, the greatest measure of success isn't a qualification on the wall—it's the outcomes my patients achieve and the trust they place in me.
If you're ready for a deeper understanding of your health and a tailored approach to wellness, I'm here to help.
Im almost booked out for June. So jump on now and make that change.

Lets thrive! My first program for women on the journey us women travel in perimenopause and beyond. ➡️

Thank you to the for having me. My first talk, with 20min I provided just a snap shot of this transition and who I am.➡️

If this is something you would like to hear, I'm going to hold many info nights over the coming months to help cater as much as possible to women's valuable time, especially us rural women holding the fort at home. If you are in the Foster, sth Gippsland area, then follow for dates. This coming Wednesdays class is sold out.

Yesterday I tried this side of ER.
This is a health reminder for my ladies.
Menopause and its symptoms can throw some curve balls....those hormones starting to decline can lead to other health issues.
And while I'm good ....false alarm, this is just a reminder, get help when you feel very different to your "normal" day.
What I experienced yesterday was pain across my back (shoulder blades), I was clamy, nauseous, chest felt heavy.
Now it was a case of possibly having too much knowledge that I freaked out...but it was a timely reminder that as a perimenopausal woman you are now at risk of declining heart health, Why? Because oestrogen is a cardioprotector, not just part of our reproduction.
And this is why looking after your health is super important to reduce those factors associated with the decline of oestrogen like increased BMI, obesity, increased blood pressure and cholesterol....that can increase your risk of heart disease.
Im overall very very healthy, i eat extremely well, exercise and alcohol is a very rare occassion.
And I was given the all clear after a few hours.
It all made sense while in Emergency why I had my moment....I started my bleed - it explained all of why I was feeling the way I was.
Menopause is different for every woman, while I've had a pretty calm journey till now, Im also noticing alot of new symptoms, and this is the second time I missed some clues....mostly it just shows that while I'm clinically trained to gather information and understand my patients to get to the root cause....I can miss my own!
The reason I write this is to also tell you ladies....if you experience anything out of your ordinary, seeking medical help isn't (should not be) silly, or have you gaslighted.
I was lucky, the staff at the hospital looked after me well and today I'm back to work....just with some period pain.
This Menopause thing is a journey!
