This week, two of our fantastic team members, director and GP Dr. Brad Frew and our Resident Psychologist Emma McCracken, have been across the strait in beautiful Launceston for the Australia and New Zealand Moral Injury Conference (ANZMIC 2026).

​Moral injury is a deeply complex and important area of mental health, often affecting veterans, first responders, and healthcare professionals who face incredibly challenging and high-stakes situations.

​At Fortitude Health Group, we are deeply committed to staying at the forefront of specialized, evidence-based care. Continuous learning like this allows us to better support our community, our brave veterans, and everyone navigating the road from recognition to recovery.

✨ Please join us in welcoming Dr Scott Moore to Fortitude Health Group! ✨

Dr Moore brings a wealth of experience across emergency medicine, intensive care, paediatrics, women’s health, plastic surgery, and orthopaedic surgery — helping shape his holistic and patient-centred approach to care.

With special interests in:
✔️ Preventative medicine
✔️ Men’s health
✔️ Musculoskeletal & sports medicine
✔️ Paediatrics
✔️ DVA Support

Since 2021, Dr Moore has also worked with the Essendon Football Club as one of the AFL team doctors, and more recently has developed a strong passion for supporting the veteran community as part of the Fortitude team.

Outside of medicine, Scott enjoys golf, football, travelling with his wife Lizzie, discovering Melbourne brunch spots, and spending time with their dog Winston 🐶

An exciting year ahead for the Moore family, with Scott and Lizzie also preparing to welcome their first child in June 2026 👶
