Plus is an industry leading day program, empowering people with disability who require higher levels of behaviour support, to make meaningful contributions through work activities. This is groundbreaking for the disability community in Australia. Plus currently operates from one site – at unit 5, 10 Rodborough Road, Frenchs Forest, NSW – with plans to expand in the coming years.

It is not the person who is challenging.
It is what is missing, unheard, or not working around them.

Our NDIS registered team at Plus Behaviour Support looks at the whole system. We identify gaps, barriers, and unmet needs so we can create environments where people feel safe, heard, and supported.

Want behaviour support that looks at the bigger picture? Visit our website to connect with our Sydney and Newcastle teams.

Text quote: Zoe Lane says the challenge is the system around a person, not the person.

Kai has been applying his skills at the hub by cleaning cars.

Washing exteriors, vacuuming interiors - taking ownership of each task from start to finish.

It’s more than a clean car. It’s routine, responsibility, and life skills. And the confidence that comes from doing something well and seeing the result.

At Plus, we say “yes” to real-world skill building, because we know that everyone can contribute.

Psychologist vs Behaviour Support Practitioner - what’s the difference? 🤔

While both roles support people with complex needs, they bring different strengths to the table.

Psychology = “Let’s treat your mental health.”
Behaviour Support = “Let’s understand what this behaviour is communicating and redesign the environment so the person doesn’t need it.”

At Plus Behaviour Support, our Behaviour Support Practitioners work alongside Psychologists in multidisciplinary teams to make sure both psychological and environmental needs are met.

Do you want to understand more about the differences between Behaviour Support and Psychology? Check out our blog: https://plusdisability.com.au/2026/05/29/understanding-behaviour-support-and-psychology-in-the-ndis/

We currently have Behaviour Support Practitioners available in Sydney and Newcastle. If you or your loved one needs support, we’re here to help: https://plusdisability.com.au/plus-clinical/

At Plus, we believe that with the right support, everyone can participate in society and make their contribution. That’s what our Plus Social Program is about.

Whether it's bowling, going for a walk along the beach, or for a ferry ride, we create real social experiences with support that gets it. We provide the scaffolding so social life is fun, safe, and on your terms.

Because being part of the community isn’t a bonus. It’s a right.

Behaviour support isn’t about stopping behaviours.
It’s about replacing them with skills.

Like being able to communicate “I need space” instead of running.
Or “I need help” instead of shutting down.

That’s the breakthrough Carla from our team will never forget. And it’s what we work toward every day.

At Plus, we build opportunities into our activities to develop skills which directly contribute to our quality of life - like focus, coordination and confidence.

We design our days around building real-life skills. We embed skill-building into daily activities so participants can practice, progress, and feel proud, all while doing things they enjoy. It’s all part of how we support NDIS goals and, more importantly, help people build a life they love.

If you’re a family looking for a day program that values growth, connection, and quality of life, we’d love to meet you. We have availability right now.

James is proudly showing off his latest drawing, expressing his creativity while practising focus, coordination and attention to detail.

At Plus, we focus on developing skills like these, which support confidence, fine motor development and self expression. Encouraging participants to explore their interests while building practical skills is central to our person centred approach.

Person centred, evidence based behaviour support is about looking beyond the behaviour to understand what is really happening for the person.

When support focuses on root causes, clinical insight and practical strategies, it can lead to safer environments, stronger skills, and better quality of life for both participants and their support networks.

Plus Behaviour Support Practitioners are highly experienced and currently have capacity to support NDIS participants in Sydney and Newcastle.
