YOUR WORTHI IT..
One Yoga class isnt going to change your life or pain. Consistency is only way you will start to feel the real results. When YOU have been stuck in PAIN long enough, your body makes it the NEW NORM. Your body doesn't just deal with it, IT BUILDS AROUND IT, creating compensation patterns, by Guarding behaviours and protective tension, creating the New Normality so the moment you start waking up those patterns by reintroducing movement that has not happened in a while, your nervous system doesn't always say THANKYOU.. Sometimes it sends you A WARNING NOTICE -But this isn't always a sign to STOP!! It can be a sign that things are CHANGING. Progress doesn't usually feel good at first, but that doesn't mean your BROKEN. It often means things are WAKING UP. Most treat PAIN as a STOP SIGN, but when your NERVOUS SYSTEM is OVERLOADED, ALL PAIN FEELS LIKE DANGER. So Pause, take a breath and soften something-like your jaw, your stomach or your breath. Then give it a go again, But HALF as hard.
YOUR NOT TRYING TO WIN.. Your reconnecting with yourself and unlearning patterns and learned behaviors.
