I met Annette whilst working as a volunteer ambulance officer at Mallala, over the years we continued our laughs whilst she worked on the roads and myself in comms. Annette hands down is one of the funniest people you could meet, she is strong, resilient and bloody hell she has put up one hell of a fight over the last few years.

If you are not able to help out, of you could please share this go fund me to help with any financial costs especially being off work, and bills don't stop. Very highly recommend Dear Dorothy. have stopped in for meals on several occasions now. Not only is the food delicious, big sizing, fresh and oh did I say delicious? you are also greeted with a warm welcome, a great laugh and can see he is extremely dedicated to his business. Definitely recommend!

So I thought I would share with you all my latest exciting news.

A few weeks ago I seen a university degree being offered at Flinders for this semester, and thought oh stuff it, I will apply, never thinking I would actually be offered a spot. That was until last Thursday evening when I was offered my first preference in Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education.

I went through so many emotions of excitement, determination, increase of self confidence and extremely proud of myself.

As I was accepted at the end of week 2 of this semester I have had a LOT to catch up on, plus adding on this is my very first time in Uni at 37 years old, it has been very overwhelming.

Between working with my clients and lots of extra studying I am beyond lucky to have so much extra support from my dad who has been helping so much with my children whilst I continue to catch up.

Bring on new beginnings in order of furthering my career in the most rewarding and fulfilling sector of my life and cant wait for what my future holds
