Buddiup Geelong

Buddiup Geelong Running structured programs that support young men with disability through our key pillars Health, Relationships, Community and learning.

Our goal is to create social connection and build life skills to foster independence, capability and confidence

It was great to welcome the content creation crew into Buddiup HQ to film a “day in the life” of our Step Up program.

Even better was being interviewed by Kyal and King Ben — two young men who attend Buddiup and are also part of the No Limits content creation team. Watching them confidently interview and discuss what Step Up is all about was something pretty special.

Step Up is our structured, purposeful 5-hour program where every hour is dedicated to our 4 key pillars — Health, Relationships, Community and Learning. We run two groups per day, 5 days a week 💪🏼

From gym sessions, heading to our friends at .deli for a drink and some gratitude journalling, our learning modules, shopping and life skills, through to building friendships, confidence and independence, every part of the day is designed with purpose to help young men and women get the absolute most out of their time with us.

We genuinely love what we do. We love seeing and supporting friendships to grow, confidence build and individuals continue to challenge themselves and thrive. Anyone who has attended our programs or spent time around Buddiup and Sisterup knows just how much pride we take in the quality of our programs, support and outcomes.

And the best part? Our Sisterup program follows the exact same structure, purpose and high standards. 💙🩷

Last night surprised us with the presentation of a sponsors jumper, and we honestly couldn’t think of a more fitting moment to receive it.

Being there to be a part of dinner with a great group of players and families from the all abilities program, it was one of those moments where you look around the room and remember exactly why community sport matters so much and how impactful it can be.

Players chatting and laughing together, families connecting, everyone sharing a meal, helping serve in the kitchen, jumping in with clean up and simply feeling like they belong.

That’s what it’s all about.

We are so proud to support a club that has fully embraced its all abilities team, the players and their families. Seeing the smiles and connections last night only reinforced why we choose to support the clubs and communities we do ❤️🖤

🧊This Sunday is a big day for and for our friends at

This is a club we’re incredibly proud to sponsor, and a club that supports so many of our Buddiup boys. Through their All Abilities program and their commitment to inclusion, Newtown has shown time and time again that they are more than just a football club. They are a community that welcomes, supports and values everyone.

It’s fantastic to see so many great people with strong ties to the club stepping up for this Sunday for the Big Freeze, all helping raise vital funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease. We’re especially proud to see take on the role of Big Freeze Ambassador.

We’ll share donation links in our stories if you’d like to support one of the sliders and contribute to this incredible cause.

Finally, we’d like to acknowledge the remarkable impact of Neale Daniher. Through his courage, determination and selflessness, he has inspired millions of Australians and created a movement that continues to change lives.

As Neale has said “We all have the ability to make a difference.”

This Sunday is a perfect example of that.

Good luck to everyone taking the plunge. We will be there to support and would be great to see as many people come on down to show support for 💙🧊

We are proud to let our community know that .geelong and .geelong are now officially Registered NDIS Providers.

This registration simply formalises what we have ALWAYS done, and what we will continue to do every single day.

Support young men and women to build confidence, capability, independence and to create opportunities for social connection and growth through our programs.

The same values.
The same approach.
The same passion and purpose.

We are incredibly proud of this milestone and grateful to our amazing participants, families, mentors and wider community who have supported us on the journey so far.

We look forward to continuing the journey together
🩷💙💜🤍

If this doesn’t put a smile on your face, we’re not sure what will 🏀❤️

Last nights basketball was all about the teamwork, the skills and the celebrations.

The pure joy in this video!

Tomorrow our very first Step Up session begins and honestly… we can’t wait 💜

Today we put our Sisterup HQ and Step Up program to the test with Rach stepping in as our trial participant for the day 💪

Step Up is built around real life skills, confidence, independence and connection, with every part of the day intentionally designed around our four pillars:
Health.
Relationships.
Community.
Learning.

Each Step Up day starts with a gym session before walking to public transport and heading to a local cafe to order a drink and complete some gratitude journaling. From there it’s back to Sisterup HQ for our learning module with this weeks session being weekly planning, before heading to the supermarket to shop for ingredients for lunch.

Then it’s back to HQ to wash hands, prepare ingredients, make lunch together, sit down and eat before finishing with the clean up and wash up.

From communication and social connection, to travel training, meal preparation, routine building, health and wellbeing, every part of the day is designed to support young women to continue building confidence, capability and independence in a genuine and supportive environment.

We are SO excited to officially get started tomorrow 💜
